It really ticks me off when i get in to a spirited debate with someone and they say,"yo mama_____." I think it is very immature and old. If you lose an argument don't say yo mama, keep trying to defend yourself or back down, don't go that low. Other thing people say and do:

run away and say loser!
say your a homo and say,"hey this guy is a homo," to the guy next to you
i bet i could beat you up
what you wanna fight?
what i didn't hear you?!

Nobody uses yo mama jokes un-ironically. Everybody, including the OP, who says they have this problem is either still in middle school, or lives in 90s town.

I wish I lived in 90s town. Back in the days when McDonald's served great pizza, FFVI was out and there was no internet for fanboys to rave on (BBS doesn't count), Kurt Cobain was still alive, Will Smith was still out and countering the dorkiness of Steve Urkel, Chef Boyardee tasted like actual food, and $2 worth of candy at the 7-11 could rot your teeth inside out. The surfer talk and yo mamma jokes were a small price to pay.

This thread basically went to hell and back, but got side-tracked and went to the 90's for directions.

Perhaps it's because I created a hilarious argument and random "Yo Mama" interjection in my head but I found it hysterical. Anyways, far as senseless thought timers, they are useless.

It's about as useless as people who instinctively use "Like, dude, man, **** or what have you" as time to think of the rest of the sentence.
