Don't you just LOVE blackouts? =_=
Well, about 4 hours ago, I had a blackout, and my power just came back on. It was 93 F outside...and we had nothing except water. I was sweating my ASS off. I know that's bad, right? >.> Well, it gets worse..
Right in the middle of an event...(well, the event was almost over) and I dced when the stars came up, so missed my chance for bonus exp and a box. =.=
God, I hate it when modern technology goes haywire. : <

Still better than having a blackout for 3 freaking hours during winter in Canada at night, and on top of that, wait until 1AM to be able to work on homework in the computer. ;_;

I do hate blackouts x.x;;;. I remeber like last week I was playing Banjo Tooie on the 360 and talking on msn and then suddenly power went out. Long story short I FORGOT TO SAVE @___@;;;. DAM YOU BLACKOUTS.

This. Couple that with the fact that it gets really windy here and it (at least it used to until they moved some trees around) happens often.
I was in the middle of a good Excitebots run earlier this week when I lost power. I'm fortunate nothing happened to my Wii's internal memory..

I'm so-so with blackouts. Generally, I find them pretty fun, I mean honestly, that's family bonding time right there. My family is always prepared for blackouts. We play Cranium. xDD
Most of the time when it blacks out in DC it's because of storms, and if it's stormy, I'm generally not using something that can be affected by a blackout, aka like a Wii game.

Our heater was messed up for a day before we fixed it. It was cold. DAMN COLD. Wasn't even one of the colder days either and I was freezing my ass off.
Blackout in Summer in School = NOT FUN SHIT. With all the damn people, that place is gonna turn into one hot, humid, smelly place.

That happened to me, too. I actually had to write my paper by the light of a CANDLE. When it came up at dawn, I jumped up to type the damn thing, as I had to submit it at noon.
I was all but ready to turn in a handwritten paper, LOL...

LOL I was just saying that this morning. My sister broke our AC by playing too much with the switch. I live in Florida.. so it gets super hot during the days. We had our fans going, I was looking at the temp in the house, it was 103 degrees. Yeah. I went outside because it was cooler. I went to go call the electrician to fix the AC.. the phone tower was down. Lawl.
