Bah, stupid Ntreev that recycles sprites and make quest items have the same look AND name as other things. I see people vending 'moonstones' for 500k and knowing me... I bought a pile. Too good to be true? Maybe. But I have a friend who actually bought a REAL moonstone from someone for 10k, and 500k hardly seems that far-fetched. Okay... maybe 'my fault' for not reading the description, but nobody is gonna read the description of every single item that seems underpriced. It's just a good deal to some.

9m down the drain...

playing jTO you don't have to worry about it as the refinement stone is called 月長石, and the quest item is called ムーンストーン. You can always push the GMs to change the name of one of them.

I bought 170 stones for 150k each from a shop. I think prices are dropping down since people farm em off Iciclers now...

On topic: I am not really against recycling sprites. Less new images, less memory wasted, less loading time.

We just have to be more careful. =/

Some people are abusing the fake moonstones in purpose. FACT. But some other non-so-experienced players are just following the big crowd.

They could at last rename it. "Moonstone of Fate", or "Moonstone150699", "oOMoonstoneOo", "NarutoMoonstone" something, but not the same name prz >_>

More specifically...

The (old) type that is drilled at the Caballa Relics mine is used to refine.
The (new) type that is drilled at Vamp Castle is for the new key quest in Rose Garden.

The problem is that they have both the same name and sprite, so you *have* to read the description to know which one it is. I strongly disagree with that, too, so I agree with this rant. Seriously, what the heck? It's going to fool any player who isn't 100% up to date with the new items, and it's like Ntreev's telling scammers "Go ahead, you can try to scam as much as you like with moonstones, you're gonna fool many people for sure". Same name and same sprite. No comment.

It's not so bad if different items share the same sprite, but sharing the same name really is not good. I know how it feels to be wasting money on buying the wrong things, it has happened to me before.
