I mean yeah, F2Ps often have a large number of clueless idiots, but I've never played another game where people had so little pride in being able to play decently. Playing EE for two months, I literally met about 3-4 people who solved things by playing better instead of bringing more people with more money, and they all made the smart decision to quit quite a while ago.
actually, people do take pride in being able to play decently
that's the problem
they think they're playing decently
and take pride in it
and are not willing to take my advice on how to tank and such
pride is a problem when they're not willing to learn
as with any game that takes strategy, i learn through testing and experimentation
i spent like 2 hours on gilles
3 hours on tuka tufa
for me, it's about learning how things work
if you're in a party with a 9999999999 patk ma, you have a good chance of beating the boss, but that doesn't mean you're learning anything
people in eden are not willing to listen at all
"if you move around instead of standing still, you might take less damage"
response: "noob healer"
"how much fire res do you have?"
response: "LOL i have 999999999 def/ 999999999 eva this boss will be easy"
