Oh, I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about online
Point-click MMORPGs again have been the ONLY MMORPGs for the longest time, and by that I mean ONLINE
, with the internet community (back when it's not infested with 12 year-old boys that just hit puberty and learned what girls hide under their skirts).
What DON'T you get from offline games?
What are the only ways to get online interaction in a game?
What kind of MMORPGs are out some years ago?
Point. And. Click.
You only say point-click is boring now because there are so many other new MMOs out there. Side scrolling, MOBA, third-person hack-slash, FPS, etc.
Also, HEY LOOK, MAYBE IT'S NOT JUST THE POINT-CLICK ASPECT THAT ATTRACTS THEM!
Look at World of Warcraft. I ****ing hate the game but it has a shit ton of features, why would it matter if it was point-click.
Look at Mabinogi. That is literally a fantasy life game that is point-click, why does it matter.
Ragnarok Online, first unique graphics of its time when it was released.
