iRO Releases Free To Play Server: Valkyrie

Today, Tuesday September 30, the Valkyrie server officially takes flight with its Grand Opening!

The Free to access Valkyrie server is now the base International Ragnarok Online server. With Valkyrie`s rates for Experience and Drops set to 100% normal RO values, we welcome all those heroes that may have hung up their adventuring cloak due to monetary issues in making a month to month subscription.

In addition to our Valkyrie server opening, our Premium servers, Chaos, Loki, and Iris, also have received an update today. All Premium servers will enjoy a permanent rates update to 125% Experience and Drops from the normal RO values.

Today marks the begining of a new era for Ragnarok Online, `Thank You` to all of you that have always made RO your home, and `Welcome` to all you who are just starting our your journey with us!

but then some of the drops becoming npc sold items only made me cringe >__>
ill download it later and check out the population,
if theres alot of people ill play it,when i can.

the other benefit of playing in a premium server is that the bots will go down considerably lol

there were about 500 people on when I checked

Great! I didnt like the idea to play the game on a private so I never tried the game... I'll probably try it now :3

Yes. I'm also planning on trying the game out now. It's nice that the difference isn't too extreme. Coulda been like the difference between RS members and p2p( only comparison I had 'cause I haven't played many other subscription games with a f2p version).

Sorry, this RO is way too hardcore for a casual player like me. It's like they added a "I'm Crazy" mode to the game.

Soft feathers are not "nearly impossible to get". They also don't take forever to drop. :U

So it hardly counts as crazy.

RO has always seemed cool to me but I absolutely hate private servers.
it feels like everything I'm doing means even less. :[

Meh I never liked RO on the first place.

I only played it on the private servers with my friends ,but without them it seemed in the lower levels a community was non existent.

It was also too easy ,and boring.
