Specific reason to no post count in Role-Play Forums?
It's just a question that came to my mind since I started role-playing again. I mean, I also frequent Random forums and could understand why there's a need to restrict post counts in that boards (since it's a spam board that every forum has).
I figured the way role-playing works shouldn't be something that creates a tremendous spike in post counts and would be like frequenting a specific forum anyways.
This is a good question. I didn't think that post count wasn't going up in certain places outside of Random.
It's logical to not grant post counts on boards where you don't have to think to post, where breaking the rules is allowed, like Random, but Role-playing forum isn't like that. Any other forums disallowing post count (not sure which ones) in places that don't make sense should have that restriction removed. Sure, they aren't meaningful discussions to everyone, like General Discussion, for example. It counts as a forum game, but most of the posts do carry a heavy load of thought and effort put into them and that deserves some merit.
