Umm... ggFTW?

Right, I'm sorry if I'm blind or I missed the answer, but can someone please tell me how did you guys end up with "ggFTW" as the replacement for "MyMMOGames"? I have been a bit curious about why did you guys change "MyMMO" to this. o.o And... uhh, not to be offending, (Sorry!) but I don't really like the new name as well. ^^; Unlike "MMO Forum" or "MyMMO", GGFTW, or "Good Game For the Win!" doesn't really have that same... ring into it. The site name could be better, I think, but may I ask why did you guys pick that kind of name?

And before you ask, no I'm not saying I HATE ggFTW, I'm just asking how did you guys come up with such a site name when it could be something better. ^^;

Thanks for your feedback, above is a link to the announcement. It's very easy to say "it could have been something better" but in practice it's very difficult to do.

Ahh... There we go. Yeah, it's true, coming up a unique yet short name is hard.

But hmm, I think it's a bit too late to suggest this, but why not the members go try to make up their own name for the site as well? You mentioned that "Many staff members agree"... The members are part of the community as well, so they do have the right to help. ^o^/

Anyways, ahh, I suppose that answers my question, thanks 8D *gives rep... although you already had kazillions of them* >=l
