Cutural clashes on randoms
Guys from MC and MT can't get well on randoms. Gar.

I suggest if guys from MC (or whoever else for the matter) want their thread to be taken "semi-seriously", place a [Serious] in front of title.

Example: [Serious]3 Word Game.

And then rules shall be followed on the thread set by OP, we must listen to OP's decision to stop, etc etc.

All else is fair game.

maybe we should have a forum games section? >>

Sometimes they post threads on randoms that are not games, but they dun want us to spam either... @@

Anything that is serious but doesn't belong in another area should go in general chat.

It doesn't really work this way...

For example, they may open a thread titled "What have you eaten today?"

Can't post it in anywhere but randoms.

But knowing most ex-MTers, including me, we will post something stupid there, when they are expecting real answers...

So yeah.

If we can post "What are you Craving right now? and "what are you listening to" in General, there's no reason "What have you eaten today" can't be put there.

I would think that would be acceptable to post on the Health forum. Random is a place where you wouldn't expect serious answers, anyway.

Umm it isn't about culture as much as it's about what we are used too.

Mytrickster had a more lenient air, MyChase I guess had a more elitist air.
I think we all should just get along ._. *pulls a ghandi*

I dunno... From the MyChase site, their randoms and general chat seems pretty similar.

A sub-form to Random has been added. Please keep all forum games in that sub forum. Random itself is a free-for-all - if you want people to stay on topic, don't post it in Random.

Also, any thread that the staff sticks in there is not to be spammed; they usually carry messages that will keep you from getting banned.

It depends on your intentions if you want to post a random topic but have serious answers that goes in general chat (or health or whatever depending on the topic) . Random is just plain random...
