Edge Flat Sword with a 74% Soil Attr.

or

Edge Katana refined 4 times with -5 DX

I'm asking due to some suspicions I've had with attributes and such.

hmm not sure what's the AP on either of them, but in general attr is much better for whacking xD
also it's better if you attr comp a 3s ult since they have more slots o.o and easier to refine.

Attr. better or wacking, AP better for skills. You have soil attribute... perfect for earthquake blade if your are a power type.

Depends on AP of both of them. And what level? For the most part Attr>AP but if I have a stronger AP weapon I often keep it in case of elem resist. If you're talking about PvP/GvG then AP>Attr for the most part unless your Attr is so ridiculously high that you can do 100k+ with whacking.

If you wish to use just skill to kill, I would go for the AP sword.
If you wish to whack everything I would use the following criteria in the case of your sword.

1. What is you ap with sword?
2. What is your ap with dagger.
3. Divide #1 by#2. If the number is bigger than 0.75 I would use the dagger, if less than, use sword.

If you have a GLS I would undergo a similar procedure. Except you would be comparing 1+gls%/100 with 1+gls%/100+dagger%/100 with the ratio of the ap.
Make the number about 30% bigger as monsters have a bit of dp.

If the Flat sword (AP*0.74) is greater than Edge Katana AP, just use the Flat sword. If it is lower, depends on your usage. If you just ran around whacking things, stick with Flat Sword. If you use Earthquake Blade, keep the Flat Sword.

Other, put both of them in your quick slot, so you can change easily between the two by pressing F1 and F2 (example).

You have to do this to know what is better: total power with attr sword - (your AP+sword AP)*(1+attr amount; in your case 1+0.74). If this number is higher than your AP+your other sword AP, use first sword. Otherwise - second

Did this, Edge Flat Sword has the advantage.
