Ok let me explain this graph.

There are 4 variables in the flaming fist formula soo...

I set the damage as 1 000 000

The rest give you the values of AP, Fire and MA required to produce 1mil damage.

Basically what this says is you need to balance all 3 stats to obtain the maximum out put. When you start to have 0 of 1 stats, you will need to have lots of the other 2 to compensate for it. If you lack 2 of the stats, you'll need a huge amount of the final stat to do 1mil damge.

If you have average of each of the 3 stats, it is much easier to do 1 mil damage. Take a pint in the middle of the graph, you can see from this that the values are much more human to obtain.
