Here's your chance to show your opinion of the game publishers! Vote for how well, in your opinion, the publisher listed is doing on the games they carry. Take into account responsiveness to support requests, release of content, interaction with the community, overall opinion of the publisher, etc. Please don't rate the games themselves as we're just trying to get public opinion of the publisher and please don't rate other, foreign publishers of the games. If you haven't played any of these games, please don't vote based upon what everyone else says - give your opinion of the publisher!

Publisher is great (^__^)b. So far, so good. Loving their games, their artwork. They listen to their users and seem like they actually care about the game!

They're really good at listening to their audience.
Take Dofus for example. Whenever there's a flaw, the community makes a big fuss about it, and the developers try their best to remedy it.

I've noticed nothing but positives including immediate remedies to bugs/issues/problems, especially bugs found in the Wakfu client.
I don't know what the lower votes are for, but I can't say anything but a 5/5.

The moderators and their developers interact with their community by posting on their forums, and not just in announcements.

They even have devblogs and other features on the site to show users what the staff is up to.

Many of these things free MMO's or Korean MMO's could never offer, and I'd be surprised if they did, but I'm sure that it's not going to be as strong as Ankama's service.

Again, 5/5.

You guys obviosly never played Dofus, did you?

Ankama's Dofus Team is knows for promising something than not releasing it in YEARS, not to mention they randomly change game mechanics in their pathetic tries to balance the classes, which usually hits more people than the one playing a specific overpowered char.
They are pretty slow in releasing new content, and the events are usually rare and quite lame ("Let's recolor monsters pink for V-Day, yaaay!").
Some non-French players might have trouble with contacting staff and having their issues resolved as well.

That's the cons. There's also many pros though, like moderators both in game and forums, communicating with players. Doesn't happen THAT often though, it's a matter of personal preference. And Dofus is a great game, can't argue with that (would use more updates, but still). Wakfu - not so much, but it's a matter of personal opinion. I just hope they will treat Wakfu better than Dofus, but I'm slowly losing my hope after they threw away some of the key features and progress rather slow with the game.

I'd say they deserve a good 3+, as there's still much room for improvement, but then again, no one is perfect.

Played Dofus for about 1.5-2years I believe and it was a pretty smooth experience. I suppose there were occasional drastic changes to certain skills for some classes that greatly affected existing builds, but hey, at least they actively made attempts to try and balance out all the classes.

I think the best thing about Ankama is that they would actually release beta versions of major patches, and allow players to test the changes out on a test server before actually implementing them.
