Wow lol ;;;. First time I played Plat. my team was like 10-12 levels lower then the Gym leaders. I really don't know if it's me but I think I only get better when I beat Elite 4 lol....

I used Pokesav to fix to my EVs for the Elite Four since they were all over the place and I did them as soon as I got to Victory Road varying from 3-10 levels lower than them. From the previous games adding a new zone to keep me interested, getting only the Battle Frontier is a major disappointment and killed my interest in continuing immensely.

I skipped gen 3. At least the Gold/Silver remakes will have a second area again, Battle Frontier just doesn't inspire me to keep playing.

Yeah, the Platinum Battle Frontier didn't really motivate me to keep training my team or anything. Maybe it was the fact that I used pokesav to give my team their EVs :P I wish Pokemon had more side missions or side stories besides for the "lul be da pkmn mstr!!!" shindig. It's all too linear.

To me, I think was the fact that everything was in one place in Platinum. Whereas in Emerald, it was all spread out and it felt more like a frontier than Platinum's.

Also, this Wi-Fi event's Shaymin is also able to unlock the Gracidea Flower.
