Tournaments!

And about time too.

I'm planning to host a series of tournaments for ggFTW!, but would first require information.

Those interested, please state the following in your reply:

- Version you play
- Your timezone
- Your availability over Wi-Fi (Frequent, occasional, etc.)
- Any other relevant info which may help

Also would like suggestions on tournament rules, formats, prizes, etc. I've got references at hand, but would also like to hear any opinion.

Wifi: Occasional, preferably at night, only on weekends (I live in a place with bad wifi during weekdays)
Other info: I'm a tarp.

Rules: uh. Smogon rules? as in, divide tiers into Uber, OU, UU, NU, etc. e.g. no Ubers in OU, no OU in UU, etc. etc.
Format: FIFA World Cup style? (Round-robin, top 2 of each group towards knockout); 6vs6 Single (only one single battle against each opponent) or Single+Double (play single AND double against each opponent, if Draw, then both agree on some kind of virtual toss of coin if opinions differ)
Prizes: No idea. XD

Rules suggestion:
- Divide into tiers to avoid unfair fights (Wobuffet ;_
- If a person confirms his/her team, that's their team for the whole tourney. No changing to suit weaknesses/strengths.

Prize: You get a whole bunch of... NOTHING!

Freeze clause is not necessary cos freezing is extremely rare as its only usually caused by ice beam and its only a 10% chance of happening.
