How can i get a WoW Authenticator without a credit card?
 

I want to get an authenticator for WoW but im edgy about using a credit card because nowadays lots of companys are getting hacked. Sony and one more, i forgot. I know you can also get it through your phone but thats not an option right now. Any help? Can i pick one up in stores?

No, it's only the mobile one or you buy the keyring one. Five dollars I think?

Everyone I know who doesn't have an auth has gotten hacked. My friend got hacked, got an auth. Removed it for a night? Got hacked again. You DEFINITELY want an authenticator. I'd find a way to get one.

You need a credit card to sub, or you only have cash and are picking it up at a Best Buy, etc. If you know someone (parent, friend) willing to pay you can remove a credit card from the auto-save on the website. You can let them do the groundwork and remove the info.

Oh derp, I just saw those yesterday too and I recalled thinking how tedious it sounds ;-;

As long as you don't play away from home the dial-in one would work. I assume you don't have a cell as every cell these days are smart (majority being Android and iPhones are just iPhones) unless you're on a TracPhone... but even those have apps. But I digress.

Definitely protect your account asap. The mobile is just the app, you want the dial-in
