"Among other things, during the final hour of flight customers must remain seated, will not be allowed to access carry-on baggage, or have personal belongings or other items on their laps," said a statement posted on Air Canada's Web site, citing the new TSA rules.
Also rumors going around of "no electronics" during the duration of the flight. I guess I'll have to take some nyquil before my long flight and remember to bring a ziplock bag lest unforeseen events occur in the last 60 minutes of flight. ugh. <_>
I also don't see what keeps would be terrorists from doing something 61 minutes before.
edit: TSA says electronics will be allowed during flights, save the last hour. I guess the nyquil won't be needed after all. But ziplock bags are still a go.
