According to St. Louis police a man was shot and killed Sunday morning over cheeseburgers he had just purchased from a nearby fast-food restaurant.

Carl Sharp was reportedly carrying several cheeseburgers from a Rally's Drive-In when he returned to his home in the 3800 block of Lee Avenue around 12:30 a.m.

Neighbors say the suspect had asked for two cheeseburgers, but Sharp returned home with three.

Sharp, the suspect and another man got into an argument over the extra cheeseburger, but later decided to eat one cheeseburger each, witnesses said.

After eating the cheeseburgers, the suspect and the other man left.

Police say a short time later, the suspect returned and shot Sharp three times, where he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old suspect fled the scene on a bicycle, but was taken into police custody late Sunday afternoon.

Sharp, 26, was said to have recently graduated from college. He is survived by his wife and two children.

It was a Five Guys cheeseburger. Anyone who has ever tasted a Five Guys cheeseburger will understand that they're worth killing for.

My cousin and I were robbed for water. Sadly the guys didn't get away unpunished (hurray for baseball bats in our possession). It's sad that he had to die though...especially over a dam burger.

And just yesterday I heard that someone called 911 because he got the wrong toppings on his subway sandwich, AND THEN, calls again to get the number for pizza hut.

Couldn't he just bought his own?

or cut the 3rd in half? It's not like cheeseburgers come in triangles. Even then, you could still cut it evenly in half. Stupid.
