Plot:

An interesting take on one of the best classics in English literature and a personal favourite of mine.

Looks like a wonderful movie but it strays REALLY far from the original novel. It also seems a lot darker then the book. I want to see it badly xD.

Don't know if its supposed to be a retelling of the original book or just something to possibly revive the Holmes name but yeah gotta wait till Xmas time sadly.

I saw that preview before Harry Potter. I lol'd @ the hammer part and the stripper part. Both were pretty funny. xD

Never read the Sherlock Holmes series, but I'm eagerly anticipating this movie--and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Jude Law is in it

Looks to be a thrill ride with impressive gadgets and gizmos.

I just watched it...and it was very good. The plot was a bit predictable but the acting was amazing. it's really comical too, worth watching in a theatre.

anyway I think the best part of the movie to me is the humor. there were a lot of laugh out loud parts to it.

Was going to go watch this, but I had Avatar planned in mind first D; Probably going to use my AMC tickets to go watch this tonight or probably next week. I was pretty sad going into the theater on Christmas; there was 3 lines for Avatar, but none for Sherlock Holmes D;

A fun movie with good humor and superb acting.

I'm not sure if I enjoyed this movie or not, though, because half of my mind was busy daydreaming about my boyfriend (can someone say separation anxiety? ).

For the parts where I was fully there, I enjoyed the movie. It's not something that I would usually watch, but I still found myself still pretty engaged with the plot.

One thing that I particularly enjoyed (aside from Jude Law's rocking mustachio) was the soundtrack. AWESOME, AWESOME musical score that I personally felt captured the feel of the movie pretty well.

One thing that I did not particularly enjoy was Rachel McAdams inconsistent acting. She swings between a British accent and an American accent (though usually in the latter), and it totally pissed me off. I think they could have chosen a better person for the role, because the entire time I could only picture her as the stupid blonde chick from Mean Girls rather than the clever and daring brunette she was supposed to be playing as
