There's only 2 episodes left before the series ends.
But anyway I made this because that last episode, Ozymandias.
there were so many super tense moments in that last episode alone, omg. HANK DYING and his last words, walt explaining how he let jane die, telling junior about the entire thing, THAT KNIFE SCENE, and that last phone call where he gave skyler a way to be exonerated for all his crimes. i have absolutely no idea how they're going to resolve all of this
did ya'll just not watch the series finale or something. i went to a viewing party and it was... very cathartic. it was just a solid end to the series, with all the plotlines closed up and everything. but i felt empty after the fact, like i was expecting some bigger twist. also the throwback all the way back to the first episode was really well-deployed
Series was overrated. Still can't wrap head around how that piece of shit Jesse is a fan favourite. The moral of the story I got from this is basically nice guys finish last, and being trash or an ass will likely have you finishing first. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
i don't follow. it's hard for me to paint any specific character as "good", even marie or flynn. and i don't understand that last part either, considering
walt died and his actions left his family worse than when they started, other than the trust that he gave to flynn. the "bad guy" in the series didn't win. all the morally corrupt or evil people died in the show, in horrific ways. how far did you get in the series?
I finished the whole thing. There were clearly characters that were on the lighter side of the gray scale and ones that were on the darker.
Mike didn't kill civilians for shits and giggles, and only dealt with people that were wronged him or his associates first. He clearly treated those he trusted and associated with well, and vice versa. He was working his shady job to give money to his grand daughter. When he died, he only let it happen because he grand daughter wasn't going to get any money. He could have easily killed Walt.
Walt was similar to Mike. In the beginning, he had cancer, was going to die. Was going to have another child, would be really hard for a single mother to support the family. So he was going to make money to leave for his family, although it was an illegal method. Numerous times he stressed not killing people, saved Jesse even though he was always screwed by him, and it'd be easier and better for him if he didn't. Even at the very end, when everyone keeps spouting how evil Walt had become, he didn't want to kill Hank. Hank was going to screw him and mess his family relations up and ruin everything he worked for. But you know what? He still didn't want to kill him. He would rather be locked up and have everything ruined than kill his family. Seriously? And when he died, he cried. And to wrap things up and attempt to fix everything, he helped everyone out whether they knew it or not, even if it meant he'd be remembered as a black sheep. Really now, this guy is the incarnation of the devil? Please.
Meanwhile, Skyler did some terrible things to Walt and didn't even try to understand him. The sleeping with Ted thing midway through? Jesus.
Jesse would always do something to screw Walt over, despite Walt always saving his ass and trying to do things for his own good, and then wrongly accuse people and whine about things that are his own fault, and bitch over his hypocrisy.
