Haven't watched Drag U at all this season, but I really want to. So badly.
I was gonna watch the new season of Project Runway, but I was being called to help out with a few raids on Warcraft so I couldn't. I'll have to catch up on it somehow tomorrow. Does Lifetime put up episodes the day after it's premiered? Or any other third-party website maybe?
chris and kooan are my favorites. kooan probably won't make it to halfway through the season with his japanese street fashion aesthetic. BUT IT WAS HILARIOUS TO SEE NINA CALLING HIM A FREAK BEHIND HIS BACK. even more hilarious than having heidi defend him and then shrug at nina when he mewed over not getting auf'd.
chris is kinda weepy but he's adorbs. i hope he goes far.
predictions for top 3... i don't particularly know. need another ep. dmtry & ven are probably sticking around for a while.
also! kooan has a blog. his older stuff is pretty ridiculous but enjoyable to see.
I don't think Kooan necessarily deserved to be in the bottom 3, or that the judges thought so either. The format of the show only allows them to speak to the top3/bottom3, so maybe they just brought him down in order to give him a warning. I couldn't see him anywhere near Python ***** and Beatrice's level of skill anyway.

I love the fact they brought in a new aesthetic to the show, but I don't know how well he'll perform in the rest of the competition. But I mean we haven't seen much from everyone just yet -- he might be able to pull out a bag of tricks that we didn't know he had.
I can see Chris and Gunnar going pretty far in the competition. If not the top 3, probably the top 5.
what the hell gunnar and kooan in the top? I wouldn't have guessed, lmao. I was shocked that Chris and Andrea didn't pull it off, though. Damnn. And Andrea running off? What the hell was that about Kooan and Fabio wanting to go, too!? Like, what's going on!?

watching it again i thought the middle dresses (dmitry/melissa & sanjie/nathan) deserved the top3 spot more than ven's because they were definitely more appropriate for the emmys
Seriously. I mean, I really like Ven's but I think it was more tailored to what Kenley wanted to wear rather than the challenge at hand which was to make something for the Red Carpet. I get that Kenley has such a big personality and that she would totally wear that to the event but face it, she would've worn that to anywhere. I don't remember who said it, but you could wear that to church and you would totally fit in. I was kind of hoping that Gunnar and Kooan's won. Really liked the white dress so much more.
I don't think I hate Andrea more than I just want to facedesk her.
And when the guest judge tried not to laugh, I couldn't help but laugh at her trying not to laugh. I mean, I was totally feeling for Chris but the situation in her shoes -- man. I mean I would've started busting up laughing if I was the guest judge.

Dmitri needs to win something already. He does consistently well, and I'm tired of Ven's face. I'm sad that Kooan left, but I knew he probably wouldn't have won anyway. Andrea faltered that one week and then she decided to call it quits like wtf? I'm happy that Sonjia won, but I felt that Chris or Dmitri better deserved the win.
I don't see why Buffi was eliminated. That "suit" Raul made looked like it had these weird wings coming from her belly. I mean Buffi's look really cheap and tacky, but at least it wasn't a hot mess like Raul's.
And can we just talk about Elena's jacket-coat-tent-teepee-thing? omg.
Dmitri needs to win something already. He does consistently well, and I'm tired of Ven's face. I'm sad that Kooan left, but I knew he probably wouldn't have won anyway. yea i think raul should've left. he had a 2nd shot and he kinda just... bombed it again.
i agree, kooan would've never had a shot at winning but i think he handled his leaving well. it's just a shame that lifetime released an article a couple months before the season began that a designer ran away and that another designer dropped out due to being "mentally unstable". i don't think kooan was mentally unstable, lol. the competition didnt seem to be up his alley anyway. red carpet/a dress for a business woman does not seem to be the client that kooan would design for
i'm happy with sonjia winning, because i think she's very capable as a designer. it's kind of funny how the judges were all like "OMG SHE USED DARK GREY INSTEAD OF BLACK" like grey is unheard of or whatever
i didn't think elena's was that bad. she has a very narrow aesthetic but i thought it was passable, considering part of the challenge was to show the designer's POV. nathan's was just bad, drab and sad looking. he's also had like, probably 3 minutes max of screentime on the show so far, lol

"Mentally unstable" made me feel like someone had a mental breakdown and we'd get to see like straight-jackets and stuff. Ah well.
I like Sonjia, too. But I just feel like Dmitri doesn't get enough attention and get complimented enough on how well he can make clothes, and I just really loved how simple the dress looked. Also, I'm a #TeamChris kind of person and want him to win everything.
I didn't think Elena's was that bad, either. It was just that they didn't show any of her putting the idea together, so when I saw the final runway I was like, "WHAT THE HELL WHERE DID THAT COME FROM!?" I didn't get enough time to really see what she was putting together so all I got was that initial shock.
