This is one of my favorite series on TV right now. It's so cruel to make us wait a week just for 1 episode. Makes me want to RAGE.

The first half of season 1 was a little slow, but once it picked up, I got hooked. Loving this show.

that's partly how it's written. i found the first third of each book to be a little slow.

I didn't like how they were tweaked Danny's character in the series, especially during the last episode of Season 2. I guess they wanted to give her more... I don't know the right word, 'spunk'? But oh well, I still love how they made the season overall.

Maybe I also expected a lot with how they would be able to pull off the House of the Undying part. It was so-so, though I kinda went "Awww~" when Drogo appeared. But the FINAL SCENES of the last episode gave me chills, pun unintended. That scene with the White Walkers... Oooooohhhhhh CANNOT wait for Season 3!

I am rooting for Arya all the way.

That happens in the books, too. After she loses Drogo, she does not stay the same uncertain girl she was before, she grows bold and determined. The show is a bit more exaggerated, of course, but she changes in the books as well.

i finally got around to watching season 2

the face injury on tyrion wasn't nearly gruesome enough. it has to be gruesome for some parts of the next book to make sense. instead it seems to be, 'oh look, this man has a deep scar'.

i also felt they spent too little time on the bran chapters and too much time on danny. i believe this was similar to the book though

True. IA on the exaggerated part but it's not a complete turn-off. I guess the series staff just wanted to add something as their own version of making Danny a stronger, braver and bolder character for those who don't/didn't read the books.
