What phrases do you know? 日本語読むことできる? o_o

I learned French and German at school .__. My Mandarin from just TV/music and the same goes with Japanese, pretty much. The only languages I had proper schooling in are those European ones. >_>

Well, I know some Cantonese cause of my Chinese blood, you know ;x I can understand a bit of Mandarin (as in listening) and know how to say a few phrases, but I can't really write/read Chinese very well. I know Japanese at a conversational level; my reading/writing is better than my speaking/listening. I also know French and German, but they're not very good .__. Right now, I know a few Portuguese phrases and some basic grammar >_> *Fails with* QQ

Pinyin just confuses the hell out me, it makes NO sense at all if the person doesn't already know how to speak Mandarin, so I won't go hear it .__.
Japanese seems pretty easy to me, grammar wise x.x I find European languages harder. D: Mostly German lols Q_Q I <3 languages but fail so bad at them xD I'm learning Portuguese right now and it's actually harder than I thought. ;o;

Understandable xD Chinese doesn't even have tenses 8D Hell, grammar is almost nonexistent in that language, that's what makes it awesome 8D

I just wish my Chinese wouldn't fail so much Q__Q Then again, I fail almost every language I try to pick up. Go figure. :U
