You know what I really, really hate?

MMORPGs where KSing is even a potential problem. I mean, last time I checked, one of the big things about the MMO genre in general was that you got to play with other people. So why aren't games designed to encourage cooperation instead of "cc plz"?

I mean honestly, I know you gotta have solo options for those times when people just feel like making some progress without having to deal with other people or when there's...

Honestly ... I didn't think I was going to care this much about the tournament, given that I'm not a hardcore PvPer and I'm not actually playing in it ... but damn, the excitement is infectious. We had 19 people packed into a 1v1 room discussing the latest strats and combos and speculating on outcomes and where the most interesting matches would be, and Radi decided to take it upon herself to "coach" the three members of my guild who are entering [for a mere 75% cut of the winnings, of...

Nope, this isn't a whine about how much grinding is required in MMOs lately. Surprised?!

I think it's pretty much agreed that requiring grinding is a common complaint though, especially in Asian-developed MMOs. They all seem really formulaic; you kill things, you get flashier equipment and skills, you kill bigger things, you get even flashier toys.

I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing.

Grinding, in the sense of having to do something repeatedly...

Hannah Montana - If We Were A Movie has been playing for ... over 72 hours now, I think. I put it on the stereo when I'm sleeping and carry my MP3 player with it on loop when I'm off the computer.

Oh well, at least it serves as a distraction while I go through the mind-numbing money grind. I really work too hard on stats when I get bored >_>

I swear, people are playing with some sort of explosive crap behind my house >_> I'd think it was fireworks but ... it's not even Christmas yet, too early for New Year's stuff. Scared the hell out of me earlier today.

Anyway, Christmas in a couple hours `-` need to find something to give Zetsy, ... maybe I should keep track of who I gave presents to already.
