pardon the totally random comment stalking but I'd just like to add that for the majority of the touhou games, holding Shift will indeed make your character move slower but your hitbox becomes visible and your shots hurt the enemies a little more. Being able to actually see your hitbox (it's only around 5x5 pixels, not your whole character) makes the game A LOT easier >_>
