Haha yea that makes sense. Do you use to go to Sweden for shopping?

Ah I see, so you don't have set work hours?

Oh? Then how come you have an accent? 8D

Yea I know what you mean lol. That's also part of the reason I don't want to study for it. I guess you can't have the fun without the less fun.

Haha so you have a Skånsk dialect? That's awesome 8D. And you're French? When did you move to Norway? o:

Oh noooes, not Anna Anka! lmao. She's like a love-hate person.

Oh so we both live by the sea! I live like 40 meters from the beach lol.

That's quite a good pay. Do you often work on weekends/evenings?

Yea archaeology has pretty much always interested me, I don't remember when I started to like it but... maybe since I was 5/6 years old.

Jag kan inte riktigt prata norska, men jag förstår det mesta (Som de flesta svenskar)

Oh that sounds like a fun job, with a great location ;D. Is it well paid?

I'm not quite sure what my ideal job is. I've always liked archaeology, but I just wouldn't have the patience to study for that. I'd love to have the chance to work at a dig tho, even tho I doubt that it pays that well.

Well I have to book double lessons to be able to drive somewhere where I can actually learn things, so it's 650 SEK per lesson. Yours are even more expensive than the Swedish ones, especially since the Norwegian Krona is worth more! D:

I live in north-west Skåne, it's relatively far from Norway ):
    Where do you live then?

WELL THEN! How about you? Are you studying or are you looking for a job? Or maybe even have a job?

Oh gawd, long message is long. D:

Getting a drivers license is increasing my job chances and also the area of jobs which I can get, since I could also work with delivery and such. All I know is that I don't want to work in an office. BUT, I'm not even sure if I want to be an electrician any more. Bleh bleh bleh.

That should save me like 600 SEK per lesson instead of having to take a double lesson.

We have buses going here relatively often, and the train station isn't far.

I've just graduated from the electrician program, so I'm currently trying to get a job as an apprentice. I hate calling around to random companies ):

    It's okaaay <:

Haha yes we are! Söta syster 8D

Yea, I pay 1300 SEK per lesson since it takes about an hour to get back and forth from the bigger city. I'm going to try an other option they just announced. They have one of the teachers in that city on Wednesdays and you'll have to get there and back on your own, in other ways than driving.

For those of you who have a job and work full-time (especially before and during Christmas), you know how much more work and hours you have to do.

Basically, I've devoted my life to my job (Game Advisor at GameStop) and I don't intend on quitting that. Once you get a job, you should do your best to prove to the managers, including your coworkers that you are the perfect employee for that job.

It being December, makes it very hard to get time for anything else than work....

Had the most amazing night, so many awesome people, celebrities and quite a unique experience.

As of the show itself, I did not win, but I feel like a winner. Walking down the catwalk made me feel so satisfied; so satisfied that winning meant nothing. I was already happy enough and felt that the day was fulfilled.

Second place out of thousands of girls is truly a great achievement. Only because I didn't win this contest, I'm not giving up. This is where my career stars...

No, this is not a complain, it's actually almost the opposite! Sort of.

ggFTW has an amazing community that I've fallen in love with. The last thing I would want, is for the forums to slowly die and end up with only a handful of regular posters. (Quality over quantity, though.)

The only negative thing I have to say about the website, is that it lacks a certain activity. Other than that, the place is as warm and welcome as it can get, with so many amazing users and staff...

One of the most common thoughts when hearing those two words, is usually related to problems and understanding.

The most important thing regarding cultural differences in general, is to realize you have to be understanding. One can be understanding and one can be open-minded. Those are two way different things regarding this subject, but you cannot be one without the other if you're open-minded.
Depending on where you grew up and with who, cultural differences might...
