Default Frequently Asked Questions

I think ill start a F.A.Q.
Give me questions, and ill answer em.
or if you can think of a question and answer, give em to me.

Q.Where can I download the game?
A.Download | Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online

Q.How many demons can you summon at a time?
A.One,you can only have one demon with you at all times

Q.How many demons can you store at a time?
A.7 max

Q.If I choose to be neutral,can i summon a demon of a different alignment?
A.Yes,but summoning them costs more.

Q.How do I catch the Leader Pixie?[Or all Demons in general]
A.Negotiation skills : Greeting, Threaten, Taunt [? extremely bad memory.]
Using these multiple times will result in a little conversation. If you're lucky, you'll either get a gift or the demon will join. If not, the monster will end up attacking you, or run away.
If you level up the expertise for the skills listed above, you will be able to do more, like bribing for example.

Q.What's a good build?
A.There don't really seem to be any builds. As far as stats and skills go...
Stats : Since each stat does something for a different weapon type, it really all just depends.
Example: Strength + Vitality is the average build for physical attackers. Luck can be thrown in if wanted.
After all, it's your character, do as you please.
Skills can be raised over time, and is up to you, but an exception to that is ;
Since there's a skill cap, you can't learn and master every single skill available, only ones that you feel that are necessary.
[Note on skills]: You must click the [-] button in your skill expertise window. When it becomes an up arrow, that means you can start raising it

Q.Where can I get a mount?
A.Question:
Where can I get a mount?

Answer:
You can learn to ride mounts in Shinjuku Babel. As soon as you enter Shinjuku, you will see DB Okabe sitting on a large Cerberus.Read through all three of DB Okabes lessons on mounting.
After listening to his second lesson, you will receive a Level 20 Nimble Cerberus.
After listening to his last lesson, you will receive a Leifried Intaglio ring.
This ring enables you to mount any mounting trained Cerberus.
Not all demons are capable of being trained to be mounted.
A demon MUST be a minimum of Level 20 in order to be trained for mounting.
You can train a demon for mounting by speaking with DB Okabe.

I've seen this one asked around a "few" times, and the DB guide wasn't very clear...so...

"How do I catch the Leader Pixie?" [Or all Demons in general]

Negotiation skills : Greeting, Threaten, Taunt [? extremely bad memory.]

[Adding more later]

"Where can I get a mount?"

"You can learn to ride mounts in ____________(?1) (currently forgot the city name). A Guard(?2) sitting on a Cerberus will instruct you on how to ride mounts.
After he is finished instructing you, he will give you a ring of your own, to enable to you ride a Cerberus. He will also give you a level 20 Nimble Cerberus(?3)."

"Since you cannot use the Nimble Cerberus, you will have to level up to at least level 20, before you can mount him.
All mountable demons must first be trained to be mountable by the Guard(?2)."

"Your demon MUST be a minimum of level 20 in order to be trained for mounting. Meaning, you must at least be level 20, in order to ride the mountable demon in the first place."
  • (?1): I'm not sure of the cities name currently, I'll check later.
  • (?2): I'm not sure if he is a guard, but he's on a Cerberus. I'll check what he is sometime later.
  • (?3): Again, I'm not entirely sure on this one. I have a Nimble Cerberus at level 20, which I assume I received from this guards training. It may have come from somewhere else, I will verify this on my gunner later.

There we go. Just did the process on my gunner, and that is all the correct information.
A bit long, shorten it if you need to.

Edit:
Lol, you just pasted everything I wrote in the Answer spot of the question...
