Default Electric/Light. Should I take Water or Fire?

I've made a new Sheep (planning to be Electric/Light Witch) and I've run into a dilemma. I never got the chance to properly test Shard of the Glacier and I was wondering whether it is worth picking Water just for Shard.

I've already tried a Fire/Electric/Light Dragon and because of my low MA (700ish) and LK I do have problems killing CT bosses. I know Fire is meant to be better for grinding, compared to Water (and I have to agree it is good for that) but when it comes down to fighting CT Bosses, would Shard do more damage than Scorching Earth, Phoenix Rising (both are good DoTs that help me overcome the boss' cure) and Incinerate (my strongest skill against CT bosses).

I have a feeling Shard won't be that good. It only has a 3 sec window doesn't it (so I'd only be able to use 2 skills realistically)? and also I'd have to consider the miss rate of it...

In that case, Fire would seem like a much better choice for a Witch right?

From my own experience, if you are not doing pvp, water/electric works a lot better on a light witch than fire does. Sure, fire has the upper hand in Closed Lot grinding areas, but leveling up is so easy with Fiesta and CT, that I honestly don't see much of a point in it anymore, unless you are trying to level very quickly.

If I were you, I would instead pick water/electric. You will kill bosses a lot faster using Shard + Tesla + Electro + Thunderbolt. Shard, at mastery, will not fail often at all, unless your LK sucks compared to the boss' (like using 200 LK against the dragon). You should ideally be using ~320 LK for the 60th floor boss and 400+ LK for the 72nd boss. While a 3 second window doesn't sound like too much, Shard also has a very quick cool down.

Shard is most definitely worth going water for, as long as you are also electric.
