2 handers are substantially longer than claymores. :O

But the bipi gets okay splash for a 1 hand, and gets srs crit. Best wep? I think so. :O

As Glarbage had said, two-handers have longer blades, thus they give more splash, but their damage is usually weaker than a claymore's (probably because of a thinner blade? O_O). When you look at the full-upgrade paths of 2handers and claymores, the max damage upgrades of claymores exceed that of 2handers by FAR (the strongest fully-upgraded claymore goes up to 93, while two-handers get at best 72 which isn't too bad but is nothing compared to that of claymores). However, claymores have horrible balance at maxed-out damage upgrades, so it wouldn't be so pragmatic to use a max damage claymore upgrade if you don't have a lot of dex to back it up.

From what it looks like from the Mabinogiworld Wiki, the fully-upgraded max damage dragon blade does damage comparable to a fully-upgraded claymore (90 damage is a bit under but still very close), with balance that is actually very comparable to that of a 2hander. So it looks like the dragon blade is actually an ideal weapon for those who don't have the dex to back up a fully-upgraded max damage claymore but still want comparable damage. You kind of get the best of both worlds in a dragon blade.

And bipennises...I guess they have nice crit but I'm more of a 2hander/mace guy :|

To me Crossbows are the way to go, mostly cuz you can run around with AR.
But for melee i would choose Broad swords (I dunno why) or Bipi cuz of its h4x crit

You might want to make sure that you have the dex to handle a good max-damage claymore though. The highest damage upgrade sequence gives a minimum damage of 8 and 20% balance, which means hitting minimum/mid damage a LOT and high/max damage only once in a while ._.

It's kind of why I prefer 2hs over claymores orz

And why I now want a dragon blade :U

My base dex is over 200 .-. I dunno what the balance formula is, but I think I'm good~

~60 balance from dex if it's (dex-10)/4...so yeah, perfect :3

./has a claymore now

Nah, they're slow 2 hit weps. Might be an interesting concept for dual wield, you'll just have to wait and see. :O

Spiked Knuckles FTW. They're so imbalanced. If you could EGO them, the game would be broken D=...

6 hits of 18-26, 21% crit, and 58% balance. Add in your skills and stats, and O SHI-- you'll easily be killing stuff in 1 chain. On top of that, it's possible to delay 8 hits easily.

My giant is only level 3x, and hasn't rebirthed yet, and I easily do 300 minimum damage in 1 chain. With such a high chance of critting along with great balance, 400ish is an average.

TELL ME THEY'RE NOT IMBALANCED! GO AHEAD. ._.

I can do 350ish to one mob and 250ish to any mob in the general vicinity of said mob with my mallet :3. With my hammer I do about the same, but have enough stun to chug pots or reposition comfortably between hits.

Knucks are amazing single-target dmg, but Giants are supposed to be amazing at that...so...not imbalanced just awesome :>
