Hacking: The Ski Slope Incident


As many of you are aware, we have recently adopted a more aggressive approach on hacking, modding, and packet editing. As we continue this process, we felt it appropriate to take the time to update you on how this being applied to our recent update.



The Mabinogi Ski event that began on 12/10 has been targeted by certain dishonest players. Through programs and exploits, these people have been able to gain an otherwise impossible edge in this challenge.



We have tracked down a number of players guilty of this behavior and have permanently banned them from Mabinogi. We hope this action will serve as a warning to those who would use an exploitative and unfair advantage in Mabinogi: it is not worth it.



Thank you all, again, for your continued support during this campaign. We have been receiving your reports and they have been extremely helpful in our ongoing investigations.
