Please help me..
Ok, i went on the computer to play lunia, and when I click play live, there's a popup that says "Fail to run PLauncher".
I know that PLauncher is an emulator for games, and without it you can't play Lunia.
I'm using Vista home premium right now.
I checked Program Files(x86), and I found the file was deleted.
I talked to my dad about it, and he said he deleted it, thinking it was another program -_-
I found a website that has PLauncher 1.2, and I downloaded it. But it's a .TAR file, and I don't have the program to open it.
Can someone help me please? T_T
EDIT: I found a file that can open .TAR files, but the PLauncher 1.2 doesn't work. Can someone post with a solution please?
I'm not sure how PLauncher affects Lunia, but if it's something that came with Lunia, try reinstalling. Somehow I doubt Lunia requires an emulator to run. Everything Lunia needs should come with it.
Edit: Here's someone's suggestion for Soldier Front. If Lunia does require it, it's probably the ijji loader that opens when you click play live and before the patcher opens. There's a thread about how to bypass that (I think it bypasses it. Or maybe it still opens it. Who knows.) by executing the LuniaClient with RUNGAME as a parameter, but reinstalling is still your best bet.
90% of the time when a file is in tar format, it is for Linux:
"pLauncher is a front-end (for Linux) to launch emulators with their roms."
You don't need to download pLauncher or anything to play Lunia. I guess your computer just doesn't work with the ijji page. Try the RUNGAME arguement buta suggested. If you ever need to patch it, run Lunia.exe with RUNGAME instead.
I re-installed it already, but it didn't work T_T
Anyways, the comp died, so I'm stuck with this laggy one. HP's gonna take 3 weeks to repair it `-`
Motherboard fail ftl.
But thanks for the help :D
So, I messed with my firewall a bit, and yes, PLauncher is the grey box that opens that does something before the actual Lunia patcher opens. So in theory bypassing that with the RUNGAME in the LuniaClient.exe shortcut should work. Or, since I assume it has to do with ijji's plugin for whatever browser you're using, reinstalling that should work.
That's all just for future reference. Good luck with your computer repair.
