Rebirths and Myth Stages?

My question is, you know when you do the Myth quests to unlock the other stages you get a book? Well, I was wondering, whenever I rebirth, do I lose the myth stages?
Or do I have to keep the books I get from those quests so I don't lose the stages?

You lose the stages and have to unlock them all over again. The books are just for some oddly translated readings for laughs and giggles. And for the story that they never tell you otherwise.

Ah, I see, well thank you very much =) I was holding those books and well, with only 2 bags I can't really afford to lose any space.

Getting all the myth stages over though... ugh... *sees the upcoming nightmare*

Yup, so it's a good idea to stock up on the souls before hand as that gets you past some of the quests, leaving you to usually kill the god/goddess of each level. ex lunia, foriel, wildur, etcetc.
