Any tips on how2Lir without trapping?

Any tips on how to do Lir without glitching/trapping? Because I cannot find any guides and searching did not help at all...for every class I mean because I do not even do L. Lir parties anymore if there's trappers involved...for any class that is.

Just tackle it like a normal boss. Not much different.

Except for the fact that if you don't trap Cini-Valkun with Henry, you're doomed.

Does voke chain + block count as trapping? :P

Rooms other than Cini and Lir are cakewalks, I won't bother covering them.
For Cini:
Most of the fight is just run and gun after taking out the mobs, do NOT attempt to go into close quarters with Cini unless you're not the target of aggro.
The 'have a knight eat all of the aggro and sit in a corner' trick works, just pay attention when aggro targets change.
If you have a wizard, have them ice wall and nuke away, be aware that Cini can sometimes tear through the wall REALLY quickly.

For Lir:
Lir's attacks have really obvious cues, at lest the instant kill ones do. The only one that doesn't is her dodge.
If she draws her right hand back, she's going to use pieces. Move to sides/back.
If she stops and goes silent for a bit, she's going to use sleep. Move out of range.
If she draws both arms back and glows a bit, she's going to fire her hyperbeam. Move to sides/back.
If she gets purple rings circling her, she's going to spam tracking orbs. Moon barrier.
If she touches one hand (right I think) to her chest and pauses a bit. She's going to use the spin of doom. LS or try to walk along side her at a safe point.
Her jog is so obvious that I won't say what the cue is. Just stand one to one and half dash lengths directly in front or behind her and you'll be safe.

^: Item cds don't reset with death. Even if you wait out the full cd of the flute before respawning, and all all lives + cash heart at lir, you'd only get 600*6*3*4 damage, which is not enough.

...unless you want to go into overtime with res stones.

on topic:

1 tia or knight with an endurance pot will kill cini, no problem. a voke chain+ meat shielding works too on both cini and lir, as well as the dodge when they stop method.

as for lir herself, pretty much, make sure that you can see what she's doing at all times, and try not to move too far away whenever she is attacking, a couple of her attacks are seeking, so it's best to stay close to her rather than distant.

other than that, it's very, very easy.

if you have a good party, it'll translate to 7 to 9 minute runs, very easily, (faster than almost all trapping parties, since you dont waste time trapping, and you dont have horrible players that are high level, but dont even know how to kill zakan without trapping, LOL. but i digress)
