Experience Boosters from LuniaStore

So while looking at the lunia store I noticed there are experience boosters which seemed like an interesting idea. Though Lunia has this habit of not telling you the whole story with how their items work (case in point: catalysts).

So has anyone used this and can tell me a bit more. Topics of interest are: how long does it last, whats the ratio of accelarated exp, can it increase quest percentages, is it really worth buying, will i be an ultimate n00b if i use one?

Ok... let's see if i can make the situation about those clear.

1) You buy an item that can be exchanged with 1 of 2 type of exp booster.

-One last for 150 minutes (they say but i have the impression it lasts for one hour and a half) and gives you a boost of 1.5 times the normal exp.

-One last for 60 minutes and gives you a boost of 2 times the normal exp.

2) It doesn't increase the exp quests give you, just the exp from mobs-secret-bosses tou can find IN a stage.

It's worth buying you say..?
It depends on how you use it.
For example, let's take a cobolt raid as an example.
It's a very high level and difficult raid, done by 8 people with mobs buffed by this fact.
So if you use the x2 boost and do an Adamant Raid the Quests (not boosted) + Exp from mobs (a lot and with 8 people, so the experience they give is high) - exp from stage secrets and boss exp, the results is pretty nice.
Let's say that if the quests gives you 5% in total, an amount of 400 mobs could give you the same amount of exp if you are at level 51-52.

One thing is sure, don't expect to level up skyrocked just because of a x2 boost but if you have a pretty good party and a high % to finish the raid, using it will just get the situation better.

people used to sell it in sq for 50g...but i was too poor to buy it

The item is exchanged in the npc near the robot dog, he give you 1 ticket that can be:

1. 150% exp for 150 mins

2. 200% exp for 60 mins

Quest doesnt count as valid exp for the ticket ( genocide + exp ticket -_- = dont work), only mobs and stage exp, I think is worthy on high lv (5x+), cuss the exp is horrible at that lvs.

yah i'm at level 40 right now and i still have genocide quests so i dont really need it but i was figuring those late 50's and 60's are gonna be annoying.

The best way to level up is to use the 200% on Adaman raid and take mobs/boss exp + stage quest.
I think it's a combination worth 10% more or less even at level 55+

actualy its not wroth it at higher lv. i think i get 1% from raid(quest not included) at lv 56 . and most exp comes from quest.

but im saving them for my transfered character

Really? A friend at level 54 took 4% from quests and 4.something% from all the mobs with the boost O_o

I'm pretty sure that two-thirds or so of the exp you get from Cobolt Raid is from the quests, not the stage monsters themselves

In fact, this seems to apply to EVERY STAGE IN THE GAME, really. I just did 10 stage 3-1 runs to finish up the antlion geno, and the monsters, 2 secret areas, and "stage clear!" exp only accounted for .3% of the 1% of exp (Luther and the stage quest) I got from the stage. I'm pretty sure this is the case with every stage in the game.

That means that WITHOUT the boosts, your friend would get 4% from quests and 2-3% from all the mobs. A total difference of 6-7% instead of 8%. That's not very impressive, IMHO.

thats lv 54. lv 56 is alot harder to lv then 54

Well, the proportions should still be the same. If he gets 4% from the quests and 4% from the monsters with boosters and 3% without boosters now, at level 63 he'll get like, .4% from the quests and .4% from the monsters with boosters and .3% without boosters. Either way, the boosters only make him gain exp 14% faster or so than he otherwise would have (.8% divided by .7% is 114.3%, which is 14.3% more than 100%). Which really isn't much.

Fiona i'm not saying that the boost is a thing that REVOLUTIONAIZE the way of leveling up at 50+

I'm just saying that 4.5% from mobs it's better then 2.2% (it's 200% boost, not 150%, so it's double the exp)
If you do 2-3 raids per day the gap is already 7-8% and at that level to gain 8% more of experience is not something to underestimate.

That's my opinion ,though, everybody are free to do as they please.
