there's no basic to windmill
it's a skill on its own and can be learned at any time

And Ultra, didnt we do that myth kanhel raid together haha. and how can I beat ryan's and sometimes i find it hard to get eirs down. my main source of damage comes frome sniping with blow then using IH for now. I wanna learn long and annoying combos tho ^^

Since everyone seems to be ignoring poor lodwyvern! To answer your question, Ryans have to shoot straight in either of the 8 directions, to get through their melee you have to learn the range of their last shots and the blind spots to get closer to them. Warning however, a good Ryan will still know how to catch you in those spots with skills or a quick location change, it just takes practice and usually a match with a few players of Ryan to learn their movements. As for Eirs, provoke is your best friend, Eir players can be very annoying to catch with Sacred wave as a combo starter now but well timed provoke may not only CANCEL their attack they're trying to get off, but also give you first strike. (If not playing by Courtesy rules, then just magic defense then out-melee them and prepare for yelling).
