Balanced Mode Hax
 
So I just fought a lvl 4 Tia in JL on my lvl 18...
Most people in balanced hit about 40-60 with melee.
What does this guy hit?
380-400's. 450-500 with cyclone blow. 1.2-1.4k I think with down atk. Enough to kill me in 2 AASS hd AASS 6 air hit combos.
And it isn't just a random glitch. The same hax people do the same dmg vs everyone, switching rooms/relogging/etc.
I've seen it happen in a ton of games. Sieg hits 50s vs a Tia hitting 100s, Tia hitting 200s vs everyone else hitting 60s, etc...

Pfft. Balanced my azz. DOES THIS LOOK BALANCED??????? (whys this vid taking so long? only 30 secs.... taken 2 hours alrdy... -.-)

And that's why I believe balanced should die. Even though I don't like how ppl with uber hp+dmg in free mode >>>> those without. Those people deserve to use the gears they worked hard to get. It's part of the RPG aspect of the game.

For some reason it seems completely random who gets 2x more dmg than the other player.
Even in GL when Etna and I first made Limes, we had same lvls, same stats, but I did 50% more dmg for some random reason...
For melee AND skill damage.
We tried unequipping gears, relogging, everything. Nothing made a difference.

IMO i've only experienced this severe disadvantage when fighting people that are less than Level 10

That is called a glitch, my friend.

Which is why balanced needs to be fixed a bit.

yeah, it needs to be fixed.
I just did pvp.
Lvl 22 vs lvl 2
Lvl 2 being me.
FB's damage same.
meele's damage.
I am his double.
Okay, if it's balanced, shouldn't Skill damage should be same too? `-`

I've seen it about every 1/5 matches in JL. Some more severe than others.
Damage calc in balanced seems completely random.

As john said, this has only ever happened when you have someone VERY low level. It happened when I made a new Eir and had a +9 1d weapon. I was doing like 200 damage per hit. Just don't pvp level 15-.

You sort of answered your own question there. Griefing is a fact in most multiplayer games. Also, some people might be doing it just to prove (to themselves, to other players & staff) just how messed up balanced is in its current state.

Me personally, if I'm going to get owned "unfairly", I'd rather it be by someone who worked hard for their ubergears, rather than by someone just remaking glitched lvl 3's, just to prove a point or grief for a lark.

The system gets confused when it has to balance a low level with exceptionally good equipment.

It did the same thing when Rumah was pvping on his low level eir with a +7 or +9 wand. Melees for 100s and heals for 1000s.

Meh balance should make it all balance so the more skilled person will win. I know balance is trying to make the level balance but they should make the equipments balance as well. If this is case now where a noob can beat you with 1337 equips, then it should be fixed. Because for example, if 2 level 60 battle and one of them is better but have horrible gear, he should still win. And for this situation, I'm talking about him wearing no gear while the other guy wearing all +9 equips.


I think balance pvp should give every class a base stat. Then depending on if you use HP increase/ MP increase skill upgrade thingy, your hp will increase. Also, equipments will matter, but the change in damage should be like +20 damage max, like tiny little boost that might only affect battles if the two players have the same playing skills.

like others have said balance just needs a bit more work. even if they dont work on it as much as wed like id still say keep it.. its the only place to lvl my alts like my soon to be dacy without gettin bored~ unless i fight newbies in free which honestly just isnt as fun as say.. almost killing a 47 sieg with a 1 dain <3 still a bit borin since i have no spells but beats chasing after lvl 4 newbies

balanced mode actually only balances out the characters while they're naked. therefore, lvl and dmg while naked. However, eqs then come into play...

ahh Et to the na, dacy to 60 together then bapho run ftw? xD
