Equips have far more effect than you think. My low level Eir did 60 per hit naked, but with a low level wand that was +9 I was doing 200 per hit and healing for 1000.

1. Go on your high level account with lots of gold, fort, cata
2. Buy the lowest level clothes set and +9 - +15 everything
3. Make a new account and transfer item
4. Enter a tournament with that character
5. ????
6. Profit

And I hope they fix balance. I would hate to make a damage set when I already got my nice vit set that keeps me green. ;-;

Hmm what can be a good idea is to make every character be the same no matter the lvl and no matter the equipement.
For example: A lvl 60 sieg vs a lvl 20 sieg, they both start out with, say, 5k hp and they both do the SAME exact amount of dmg range on eachother. That way, the only difference will be the amount of skills the lvl 60 has that the 20 dosnt. That would literally be balanced. No eq mess ups, no passive skill mess ups.

That would work, but there is one thing I have no idea have to solve. Lets say the lvl 60 has lvl 5 cms, while the level 20 has lvl 1 cms. How would the damage for something like this? Will the lvl 5 cms do the same as a lvl 1 cms? What if the lvl 60 kept his cms at lvl 1. It can't do the same damage as the level 20 because the MP cost % would be different.

Good point.
In that case, they'll have to be some type of balance. Thinking real quick about it, what can be done is that the dmg for the lvl 5 CMS will decrease (aswell as mana use) and the lvl 1 CMS dmg will increase (aswell as mana use) but at an equal amount so both CMS will do the same amount of dmg.
Example (completely arbitrary numbers here):
Lvl 5 CMS: 50dmg + 40 mana cost
Lvl 1 CMS: 20dmg + 10 mana cost
Result: Both CMS does: 35dmg + 25 mana cost

Only problem i can see now is if the low lvl Sieg dosn't have CMS. In this case, maybe the lvl 5 CMS' dmg will be cut in half. Dunno.. quick ideas.

and in tl my downattack only does 400 at lvl 1

Yea I was fighting that same Tia with Jumper. I lost and I was at nearly half speed

Free is usually more fair, at least for determining who should have won if the fighters are near the same level. I find that free isn't all fair when I fight vit built players though, and I lose all three of my lives while only taking 1 of theirs...

my char has like the worst gear. in free i cant kill eryn even once in free. but in balance i win easily with 1x.......

WTF
and a high lv ohko low lv is more fair?

imo balance is better just need a bit fixing. just report the bugs and glitches you see and its most likely gonna be fixed in the future patches

ummmmmm how exactly are u gonna hit firebomb 2 times without any skills to get to wall. lvl 30 sieg with voke can easy beat a lvl 7 dain

No. It was a different one. This one hit 2k with down atk 400s melee.
Only had a +8 wep. I had a +5.

Let's see... Lvl 75 with best equips +15
vs
lvl 4 with +15 weapon.
the lvl 4 would probably be able to 1comboko the 75.

At higher levels it becomes less extreme, but still counts. ex: lvl 60 vs 75. If they both have the same gears, the 60 will probably hit 1.5x more on the 75. It would probably be more fair in free mode honestly...

Balanced is not balanced.

Low levels just do ridiculous dmg in balanced;its one of the things that has to be fixed. I mean really... make a lv1 character(Preferably Dainn since people fail@Lime autostep >.>; ), then go autostep people to death really fast xD

are u sure u tested this?... cause i've seen lvl 30's pvp lvl 60s
or lvl 60's pvp 70's... and their dmg is quite normal
normal as in the lower lvl does less dmg
