No Iris Subsection, so.

Iris Lyndall the Flame Witch Guide
by PrincessLenne

Basic Attacks

A - Slash forward one time with right sword.
AA - Slash another time forward with left sword.
AAA - Extend the right sword and attack upwards. (Only works when AA hits.)
AAAA - Stab with the left and right sword, then jump forward while extending both swords and attack from up to down for a total of 4 hits. (Only works when AAA hits.)

AS - Slash then flip upwards by extending the right sword. This sequence is used for the infinite combo.
AAS - Attack with both extended swords by swinging them. Covers a wide range. (Only works when AA hits.)

S - Charge for 1.5 seconds, then nothing else
S, A - Charge for 1.5 sec, then attack quickly in front by extending both chain-swords at once. Hits knocked down enemies as well.
S, S - Charge for 1.5 sec, then swing both extended swords circularly. If opponent is in front of you, there will be a 3rd hit, and it will get flipped. Hits knocked down enemies as well.

>>A - Dash forward and slash once with right sword.
>>AS or dash-AS - Dash forward and slash with right sword, then slash again with left sword. This sequence is used for the infinite combo.

>>S or dash-S - Dash forward and kick with right leg. This is a hard knock down. It gives a good boost in speed, useful to get away when inflicted with the Curse ailment.

Space - Flip enemies with both swords. This will still keep the opponent knocked down. Works on both standing and knocked down enemies.

Skills

Sword Section

Every skill here is Physical attribute.

Dance of the Undertaker - Wield chain swords and attack the enemy in front quickly 4 times.
This decent skill is usually used for PvP. This allows high height after use so you can shift after. Stage and Myth builds don't really have much use for this, so no take for those builds. PvP builds who take this should get this at Lv4 because of its Dash cancel effect, which is used for shifting. You can also do a space-reset combo with this skill, because it is quick.
Stage/Myth - 0, 1
PvP, Hybrid - 1, 4
Level 4 Effect - Dash Cancel Allowed

Deathly Kiss - Attack by rotating in front, launching the enemy into the air.
This is another decent skill, better suited for PvP. Its first 3 hits hit at any height, while the 4th it, the pillar of fire, is limited. I recommend PvP builds maxing for its damage, it is very good. You can also do a shift combo after landing the 4th hit. For Stage, you can take its rebirth skill since its more stronger, but this can also be a backup. This skill can also be used as a space-reset combo, as it is quick like DotU. However, the 4th hit won't hit as it is not fast enough.
Stage/Myth - 0, 1, Max
PvP, Hybrid - 0, 1, 4, Max
Lv4 Effect - Dash Cancel allowed, Skill Cancel allowed

Deathly Strike - Hit the enemy with a front kick and strike it back powerfully.
It's not really a great skill, but in PvP, you can use it as a stylish finisher! The first kick can also be used for certain situational wall combos, as it hits at any height. Stage/Myth builds can use 1 point for the small push back effect. Also a quick skill like DotU and DK, so you can space-reset, but the 2nd hit is not fast enough to hit.
All Builds - 0, 1, 4, Max
Level 4 Effect - Dash Cancel allowed

Deathly Clutch - Attack with quickly rotating swords, attacking those that are standing nearby, including those on the floor.
An okay skill, as every hit from this attack is a hard knock down. This also hits downed enemies, so it proves good damage here when it picks up. Also, Lv6 gives Endurance so this is a nice saver for you. I recommend skipping this skill until later. It's good, just not that good. Its rebirth skill is way better.
All Builds - 0, 1, 6, Max
Lv6 Effect - Endurance Frames

Deathly Breath - Attack by rising in the air by the strong rotation of chain swords.
This skill is really great. You get lots of air combo with this, ONLY if the first strike hits. But if it doesn't, then don't worry, because each spinning hit will flinch the enemy, and the last strike may still hit. PvP builds can still use this for its amazing power, even in a combo. Also, this has endurance frames at Lv6, and because this skill is long, this will prove usefulness. Max this if you can.
Stage/Myth - 6, Max
PvP, Hybrid - 1, 6, Max

Lv6 Effect - Endurance Frames

True Deathly Clutch - Attack with quickly rotating swords, attacking those that are standing nearby, including those on the ground.
This is must max skill for Stage and Myth builds. In PvP, it depends, since rebirth skills may be disabled. It hits so many times, and has endurance frames. This also hits downed enemies as well. If you miss with this skill, you can dash cancel out of it near the end.
Stage/Myth, Hybrid - Max
PvP - 0, Max
(In PvP, Rebirth can be disabled)
Lv 6 Effect - Endurance Frames

True Deathly Kiss - Attack by rotating in front, launching the enemy into the air.
This is a major jump of regular DK. It hits for extreme high damage, it rotates longer (meaning more hits) and the final hit will hit downed enemies, with a major height boost. All the spinning hits will hit at any height and also lift height, and the fire pillar is still limited but hits higher than the regular. Max this if you can.
Stage/Myth, Hybrid - Max
PvP - 0 or Max
(In PvP, Rebirth can be disabled)
Lv4 Effect - Dash Cancel allowed, Skill Cancel allowed

Crimson Section

Every skill here is Fire attribute.

Crimson Flame - Launch a quick burst of flame.
This skill is questionable, depending on situations. At early Lv1, it follows enemies, but with little induction, meaning it has bad turning speed so you fire straight ahead. At Lv6, not only does the damage improve but its induction as well, following the enemy sharply, so it curves fast. In Stage, it is not all that good due to only one hit. However, in PvP, this flame can chase down opponents for those with low or 0 HP. This skill has a major range of 165 so you can hit your opponent at a long distance.
Stage/Myth - 0
PvP, Hybrid - 1, 6~10, Max

Blood and Judgment - Launch 3 quick fiery shots.
This skill should be ignored until later. This skill has very high damage at max but has no special effects. You can use this skill for tricking people in PvP, or just play with them, but at max, this skill is very powerful on single enemies. Save this skill until you have much SP.
Stage/Myth - 0, Max
PvP, Hybrid - 0, 1, Max

Crimson Explosive Lime - Summon a large Lime bomb that explodes and stuns enemies.
Very, very poor damage, but get 1 point because it has great push back and if enemies are hit by the explosion, they are stunned. Great for both Stage and PvP (for the stun reason). If you find this skill not so useful, then save your 1 point.
All Builds - 0, 1

Crimson Fire - Jump back and summon a rain of fire.
This is also a decent skill, with its decent damage and decent amount of hits. In stage, it isn't all that great in damage, but it can sort of push back mobs a bit. In PvP, because this covers a wide area in front, you can use this to trick the enemy, since you don't have to cast the skill all the way. This is almost instant-cast, so you can hit your opponent after you get hit (depends how much they moved towards you though). You also get endurance frames at Lv6, but that is only applicable to stage, and again, it isn't all that great in stage.
All Builds - 0, 1, 6
Lv6 - Endurance Frames

Crimson Hellfire - Summon a large exploding bomb that tracks enemies and explodes.
Another great skill, and a must max because of its damage. Well, for once, it is only at its best at max level because at Lv1, it has 20 induction, when at Lv9, it becomes 60 induction, which makes the bomb follow the enemy like crazy. It is a great pusher or mob gathering skill, as well as great damage. The last hit will knock up enemies, if they can be knocked up. I highly recommend max.
All Builds - Max

True Crimson Fire - Jump back and summon a rain of fire, then finish with an explosion.
This is almost the same as the regular, only that there is an extra explosion at the end. It has slight damage boosts which makes it better, so feel free to max this. This can be for mob control (the little push back) and damages non-flinchable bosses like the Myth bosses. It has endurance frames at Lv6, which helps the path to max this skill. In PvP, its less effective in situations, I mean, as you do the explosion, you could get hit by another person (in team battles). But the final explosion does hit downed enemies, so you can hit the opponent you tricked.
All Builds - 0, 1, 6, Max
Lv6 - Endurance Frames

Ultimate Broadside of Amphitrite - Summon your pirate ship and bombard enemies with powerful bombs.
Oh look, Iris' Ultimate, which is EXTREMELY POWERFUL. Rain down hell with it!
All Builds - 1

Flame Section

Every skill here is Physical attribute.

Flaming Fury - Jump forward to attack enemies with an explosion.
This skill has average damage but I recommend not maxing. It hits once for every enemy in the fire, but to make up for its poorness, it pushes back great on contact with the explosion. This has a long start up time, so you will get hit if you are not careful.
All Builds - 0, 1

Dance of Flames - Generate a strong circle of flames around you.
Another great skill. There are a total of 7 powerful hits, 6 of them being the flames, so the instant you start this skill, the instant the first hit has hit. The casting hit knocks up enemies, initiating the air multiplier. This also hits enemies in the air, which, adds to high damage. You can dash cancel after about 1-2 seconds into the skill. Not only that, there are small invincible frames a bit after the casting but before Iris finishes the skill. This is a must max, you cannot skip this skill!
All Builds - Max

Flaming Nightmare - Attach a bomb to your weapon and strike the enemy ahead.
A poor skill, but has a use in PvP. Firstly, you summon a bomb attached to a chain, dealing one strike ahead, then you spin it around you (2nd hit if opponents are there) 180 degrees to behind you and then launch it forward, making the bomb explode, the 3rd hit. The final hit also hits downed enemies, which is good for just surprising enemies. This skill is also a fast cast, so it helps in PvP by getting down low HP or 0 HP opponents. Lv6 has endurance frames, but I don't think you'll find a use for it in stage when you'll be busy damaging.
Stage/Myth - 0
PvP, Hybrid - 0, 1
Lv6 - Endurance Frames

Flaming Deathmines - Put mines on the floor that explode in flames.
This is an okay skill. Basically you stab the ground, sliding back and then detonate the ground ahead. This works like Eir's Dodge skill, only its not instant and enemies don't go flying high. If you do hit enemies with this skill, you inflict them with the Slow ailment, and the % of Slow increases as you level the skill. It's very situational in PvP, so get if you feel you can use it right, otherwise, skip this skill.
All Builds - 0~7, Max

Inferno - Jump forward and explode a wide range of powerful flames.
Iris' Lv60 skill. A great skill with high damage, but leveling it doesn't increase its damage so well. The moment you cast this skill, you get immediate invincible frames until Iris finishes summoning the explosion. You can also jump over monsters in Stage, so you can go inside bosses/mobs and start spamming skills, like Dance of Flames or True Deathly Kiss/Clutch.
All Builds - 1, Max

True Flaming Fury - Leap ahead and summon a more powerful blast of fire.
This skill is not as good. It takes longer to start the hit, and you travel further but you get invincible frames until the moment you make the area ahead explode. When you hit enemies, you flip the enemy HIGH into the air, if flippable. If you hit un-flippable enemies, such as bosses, you damage them 3 times. I recommend not maxing, but if you have the spare, then feel free.
All Builds - 0, 1, Max

Bless

Death Deal - Sacrifice HP to increase physical damage.
This is Iris' Rage Explosion (like Sieg's, Asuka's, Arta's, Gaon's) as this increases her physical damage, skill-wise and normal wise, by 30%. At early levels, the duration is short while the cool down of 120 seconds is long.
Level 1 : 1% total HP use, 10 second duration
Level 2 : 2% total HP use, 15 second duration
Level 3 : 4% total HP use, 20 second duration
Level 4 : 6% total HP use, 25 second duration
Level 5 : 8% total HP use, 30 second duration

8% is not so much, you could even use a lower-tier HP potion to heal yourself. Just be careful of when to use in PvP. If you can, max this skill. 2 points are a nice minimum since 2% is just a bit over 1% for an extra 5 seconds. 4% is still little, and so is 6%. 8% means just be careful.
All Builds - Any~Max

Deathly Grace - Grant HP to party members by using MP.
Iris get's a fake resurrection skill, yay! Only, you have to use MP (don't worry, it's little amount). I recommend 1 point, because Lv2 and Lv3 have to use Fire Plants, and what's worth about an extra 100 or 200 HP?

Level 1 : 74 MP, 600 HP+
Level 2 : 112 MP, 700 HP+, 1 Fire Plant
Level 3 : 150 MP 800 HP+, 2 Fire Plants

All Builds - 0, 1
*Tip* - 6,000 DEX users can spam this at Lv1 to heal 600 HP each half second, if you don't have an Eir, Dark Eir, or Krieg in your party.

Spiritual Bargain - Consume MP and recover HP for you and your party.
This skill make not look like it, but it is WORTH IT. Why? This is like an Endless Rejuvenating Potion, a.k.a recover HP even at 0 HP and when knocked down. Very useful for stage. Do not max, just 1 point is fine. Be careful to not use this in Battlefield mode in PvP, as you will definitely just be giving points to the other team for each hit you take bringing you down to 0 HP, so watch sparks fly. Anyways, the chart:

Level 1 : 80 MP cast, 7 MP per second, 13 HP+ per second; 290 MP total, 390 HP+ total
Level 2 : 94 MP cast, 8 MP per second, 17 HP+ per second; 334 MP total, 510 HP+ total
Level 3 : 107 MP cast, 10 MP per second, 20 HP+ per second; 407 MP total, 600 HP+ total
Level 4 : 121 MP cast, 12 MP per second, 23 HP+ per second; 481 MP total, 690 HP+ total
Level 5 : 135 MP cast, 13 MP per second, 27 HP+ per second; 525 MP total, 810 HP+ total
Level 6 : 149 MP cast, 15 MP per second, 30 HP+ per second; 599 MP total, 900 HP+ total

Also, recovery rate will work at 0 MP still. You can use MP potions to bring back your MP, but I recommend not wasting time to do that. So, with all that, 1 point into this skill.
All Builds - 0, 1

Unholy Sacrifice - Consume HP and recover MP for you and your party.
The counterpart of Spiritual Bargain. You don't have to use this skill, you can just use MP potions. Then again, in PvP, it helps just for a bit. Recovery rate still works with 0 HP, so it helps in Stage for certain situations.

Level 1 : 188 MP cast, 12 HP per second, 20 MP+ per second; 360 HP total; 412 MP+ total
Level 2 : 208 MP cast, 15 HP per second, 25 MP+ per second; 450 HP total; 524 MP+ total
Level 3 : 227 MP cast, 18 HP per second, 30 MP+ per second; 540 HP total; 673 MP+ total
Level 4 : 245 MP cast, 22 HP per second, 35 MP+ per second; 660 HP total; 805 MP+ total
Level 5 : 265 MP cast, 25 HP per second, 40 MP+ per second; 750 HP total; 935 MP+ total
Level 6 : 285 MP cast, 28 HP per second, 45 MP+ per second; 840 HP total; 1065 MP+ total
Level 7 : 308 MP cast, 32 HP per second, 50 MP+ per second; 960 HP total; 1192 MP+ total
Level 8 : 330 MP cast, 35 HP per second, 55 MP+ per second; 1050 HP total; 1320 MP+ total
Level 9 : 351 MP cast, 38 HP per second, 60 MP+ per second; 1140 HP total; 1449 MP+ total

All Builds - 0 or 1 (1 for fun! But please save it. Could be useful in PvP, depends on you.)

Blessing Tips:

Death Dealings stacks with any other bless.
Deathly Grace can cancel any level of Spiritual Bargain and Lv1 Unholy Sacrifice.
Spiritual Bargain can cancel any level of Deathly Grace or Lv1 Unholy Sacrifice.
Unholy Sacrifice can cancel any level of Spiritual Bargain or Deathly Grace.
If Unholy Sacrifice is Level 2, NOTHING can cancel it.

Ability

Mana Increase - Increase maximum MP capacity.
Each level adds 100 MP points, with max level 10. That totals 1,000 MP+. Waste of points. Never max this until you have so much SP.
All Builds - 0

Mana Recovery - Increase mana regeneration speed.
This varies upon you. If you are a Stage/Myth Iris, are you going to take MP potions? And PvP Iris, surely you want to max this (unless you make matches quick...) or use Ancient White Dragon's 2 Equipment set effect? Well, set effects can be disabled so you can't rely on that all the time. Anyways, how much you invest depends on you. Lv1 starts with 3 MP second and max level 10 heals 12 MP per second.
All Builds - Any

Concentration - Increase chance to reduce MP cost to 0.
This is a good passive. First level is 2% and each level adds 2%, totaling to 20% chance of no MP usage at max level 10. However, you really won't have much mana problems using Mana Potions or Mana Regeneration, so why use points here? However, I suggest you come back to this skill after having so much SP.
All Builds - 0

Health Increase - Increase maximum HP capacity.
Not worth to max, since it provides not much use when you can obtain a lot of VIT. Every level gives 100+ HP and stop at Lv9, 900+ HP.
All Builds - 0

Deadly Blow - Increase chance to score a critical hit.
Another good passive. One point wonder only until you have much more SP. Max level 9 gives 10%.
All Builds - 0 or 1

Chain Sword Specialization - Increase physical attributes.
MUST max especially if you are having Dance of Flames, Deathly Breath, and other powerful Physical skills maxed. Chart :

Lv1 - 5%
Lv2 - 7%
Lv3 - 9%
Lv4 - 11%
Lv5 - 13%
Lv6 - 15%
Lv7 - 17%
Lv8 - 19%
Lv9 - 21%
Lv10 - 23%
Lv12 - 28%

All Builds - Max if possible

Flame Specialization - Increase fire attributes.
This is pretty much only if you are going for Iris' Crimson section. So that's Blood and Judgment, (if you max), Crimson Hellfire, True Crimson Fire, and maybe Crimson Flame. 1 point is fine you have a spare, for the extra 10%. Chart:

Lv1 - 10%
Lv2 - 13%
Lv3 - 16%
Lv4 - 19%
Lv5 - 22%
Lv6 - 25%
Lv7 - 28%
Lv8 - 31%
Lv9 - 34%

Crimson Builds - Max
Physical/Hybrid Builds - 0, 1, Max

And that's all there is to Iris the Flame Witch.

FAQ

Q. In some of the skills, you mentioned "reset". What is a "Reset"?
A. A bit hard to explain. Basically, a reset is that if you can knock up an enemy who is already on the ground and continue attacking after, that is a reset. In other words, knocking up an enemy with "Space" or a skill that can hit downed enemies, then follow up with an attack or skill that is ensured to hit is called "Reset".

Q. How do you get Iris' Ultimate?!
A. Every ultimate is obtainable via "The Pages of an Ultimate Skill Book". There is a stage called "Greater Treasure Island" as known as "Treasure Island 1". There are FIVE pages you must gather, with the 5th being the most rarest, hence why it's so expensive to buy from other players. When you get these five pages, you have to go to Magician Fayen (Craft Shop), having all pages in your inventory, and craft them on YOUR IRIS CHARACTER. Crafting on another character will get you that character's ultimate instead. (Example, Sieg get's Siegs, Tia's get Tia's, etc.)

Note, you can't go to TI1 directly. There is the weakest, Treasure Island 3, which has a map to go to Treasure Island 2, which has the map to go to Treasure Island 1. The maps are rare, though.
