Default <STEP's Guide to Myth 3>

outdated, but still explains boss' attacks
This guide explains kentauros, wrath of flame, minibosses, and wildur

Kentauros
in myth 2, griffins got added
in myth 3, a new monster has been added: Kentauros
kentauros have 2 main attacks:
they can run and headbutt you, knocking you back and down
they can stomp (short-range hard knockdown)
their counter is the same as their stomp, except they don't flinch while doing it
like the griffin's, it's slow and easy to dodge
just move away when the red circle appears and you hear the counter sound


Wrath of Flame

there will be a timer in the top-right
and circles that will launch you high into the air after you step on them; they use a WIND elemental knock up attack
every 60 seconds, there will be an explosion that attacks everyone in the room, and knocks down; the explosion is non-elemental
you can avoid getting damaged by launching yourself in the air using the circles
if you succeed:

if you fail:


Nephron
nephron is the "bubbleman"
when he is glowing red, he's about to use his bubblebeam
he shoots a straight beam of bubbles
when he lifts his hand up and charges up, he's about to throw small bubbles
the small bubbles are tracking and are hard knockdowns
when he charges up like he's about to do a hadouken, he throws a big bubble
the big bubble does follow you a little bit, but not that much
it goes a short distance forward, then explodes
it's best to stay away from his front, since that's where all his attacks go


B. King
he likes to spin alot
it has a wide radius, but he only moves a little bit while doing it
it's almost as if he's spinning in place
he also has a medium-range attack where he summons 2 rows of fire in front of him
he always glows red before he does it, and he casts it pretty quick
the fire does not travel, it just stays there
he has a close range slash attack


Wildur
most of wildur's attacks show exactly where he's going to attack, except fire throw
generally, you should stay away from his front
and get out of any red circles that appear on the ground
he has a close-range, non-elemental push attack similar to lunia's

Fireball Punch:
a small circle appears in front of him
he will punch the circle, releasing 2 fireballs
then repeats a 2nd time
the fireballs are tracking
fire elemental damage

Fire Dragon:
wildur "twists" his body as though he's winding up for something
a HUGE circle appears
this is where he will spin and slam down, releasing a giant fire dragon into the air
shining lightning elemental damage

Fire Lift:
a medium size circle appears
the circle continuously lifts you up into the air
shining lightning elemental damage

Have you gotten the new gimmick yet? It's where the timer shows when Wildur will use his OHKO attack that hits everywhere on the field.

Curious....
Are ice moves (essentially, Yukis really...) extra strong in Myth 3? Since everything is like fire and stuff

If it does, it's not by much. I did about the same damage as I did on Foriel.

Fire lift doesn't seem to be an OHKO, but how long does he do that for? (Lol. I pray not to get hit by anything if Wildur fire lifts me e.e)

Fire Lift basically have 3 stages:

First stage he starts the attack, circle appears on the ground and you will be aired if you step into it
Second stage will only be triggered if someone is hit by the first stage, he will continue to hold you up
Third stage is where he does a raising attack and send you up really really high, this is when the attack ohkos

so everyone's calling it different things

i apologize for not having that section yet

How does the Nuclear Launch thing even work o_o

Wildur does not have a OHKO full screen attack, his widest range attack is just a big circle that summons a fire dragon that does 3 hits for ~2.4k damage each hit.

It is just a new kind of room, similar to Magic Circles and Room of Ordeal.

Basically there will be a timer set for 60 seconds, and 4 "launch pads" at the 4 corners of the room, each of the pads will launch you really really high after you step on it for a second(I noticed that the hits are elemental, so maybe it won't work if you're on mdef. But I might have seen it wrong).
Every 60 seconds, the room will have an "earthquake" like attack(multihit and each does around 3.8k, does not stun so someone can heal you after) and you must dodge it by standing on the pads and launch yourself to safety unless you use an invincible frame skill that lasts through or stay on the ground.
All the bosses will have animation of them charging up for the attack when the timer hits 0:04, even if they were in the middle of an attack.(which means if you get hit by fire lift and timer hits 0:04, you will be dropped.)

I could have sworn the hits knockdown. I immediately died from full health when I didn't try to use the lifts.
