<STEP's Guide to Myth 2>
this guide is outdated since the myth4 update, but the bosses still work the same
this guide explains griffin's counter, room of ordeal, foriel's attacks, and minibosses there are videos included so you can visually see what i'm talking about in each section Griffin Counters the mobs in myth 2 are the same as in myth 1, with a new addition: griffin the griffin is the only myth monster that counters it's slow, so you have alot of time to dodge it if it counters, it glows red and u hear the counter sound move back, then continue attacking after it slams down here is my video guide: Room of Ordeal (Rock Room) if you are teleported to the rock room, you need to dodge rocks rolling downward there are different patterns you can get every run, but the patterns are always repeating the best place to dodge rocks would be the right side if you're in the rock room when the boss dies, you can grab the stone of ordeal that appears inside the rock room it can be turned in for a repeatable quest http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...03012452-1.jpg Fighting Foriel attack from his sides keep a distance away from him, but stay at his sides, not the front or back when he is playing his harp, that means he's about to do his aoe so if you see and/or hear him playing music, go to his back here's the video: if he takes his hands off his harp and raises both his hands, that means he's going to do his other aoe he pulls you to him and sends you into the air he casts this very quickly and it has decent range here's the video: when he sends out his homing ball, don't go near foriel because after he sends out his ball, he does a close range attack that pushes you away it's a killer combo: send out a ball, then push you towards the ball when he raises ONE HAND, that means he's about to send out the ball here's the video: this is why u attack from his side the line of circles a line of circles appear at his front and back after he summons the line of circles, he sends them towards either side the line is only in front and back of foriel, but not on foriel himself so to avoid getting hit from the circles, stay perpendicular to the line of circles he also does a push attack after he summons the circles, so don't go too close or you might get pushed into the circles here's the video: here's what i mean by perpendicular to the line of circles: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y10...perpcircle.jpg Fighting Talman King if he jumps into the air, he's about to body slam you it does alot of damage and is a hard knockdown he can also slash 2 times; first slash stuns, 2nd slash knocks back here's the video: Fighting Minotaur he has a close range attack that stuns he can also swing and knock you back here's the video (i get permastunned at the end): |

i can't really teach people how to time attacks it's my advice on how to play safe youtube's doing maintenance right now, so i can't upload the videos but i'll do it as soon as possible |

dead people teleporting to rock rooms is a bug. so is the moon footholds. when whole all except 1 person is dead. then theres no timer for boulders(q,q at friends dying leaving me to solo him, 20 min of as sp sp FTL).
you also get enough time to escape the suck in skill from melee range, just dash away when he let go of his harp, a bit hard to get used too. mag def also works in foriel on all attacks except when he push you back. his elements are wind and cold. imo the talman king isnt worth fighting if you dont have any ranged chars in PT could add in more but im way way to lazy. |

i got 0 bars in latency and i can stil dodge boulders 0o. they are slow. just watch the video for the easiest way beat it(tho its boring do it that way, i use a diffrent dodging method >=D).

Maybe you'll like to add that the 2 stone in the boss room have very little hp. The most they can withstand is probably 2~3 attack that unintentionally hit it. Might trigger unnecessary boss changing if the team is not careful enough, so people have to be clear of their atk range. Edit : Jog-happy Eir, Dacys, Yukis, Ryans, Dainns, Siegs on the other side that hit both the boss/stone at the same time with things like nado/rebirth dfist etc etc character's aoe moves. |
well you should really add in that its a bug that people get teleported to rock room when they are dead <.<'
