not quite... maybe he meant the item is not going to break.. but there's a chance to fail.. you'll loose the amount you've paid.. each upgrade the chances of getting success lessens...

Nope, we have insignias and runes to attach to each piece of wearable equips, and 2 for each weapon equip, like for my ranger I have a bow grip and bowstring upgrade, problem is, sometimes the upgrades cost a lot. You attach it, and it stays on, and you can replace it by putting another upgrade on it, only a chance of breaking when you try to salvage the upgrade from the item. Why am I talking about Guild Wars in a Lunia forum, lol .

i would consider a+10 item when its +9 then dimly dunno just wat i would consider as a +10 item, i dont use any catalyst until 5-6 or if it fails 3 times at +3 ill try again another time. I usually get good upgrades on my items

lol i fortified my puppeteers sword to +9 without even one fail, but then broke 2 equips when i tried to get them to +9 from +8

Now that's sweet. It'd be great if there was a way to interface every player into a DB (like WoW's Thottbot). Maybe interested people can donate items to you so we can get a larger sample size

why cant people accept the fact that its all luck involved .-. ??

The only factor i consider to be true, if you +9 something your almost likely to break another item if you try to upgrade it, vice versa with dimly/shining/coldshining

I think there must be a way to get +9 .. Atleast having a high chance of getting it.

And the whole more Catalyst break thing is not confirmed so.. If you fail and break it, you got Bad Luck

The only way your going to get +9 is when they release those Cash shop catalysts.( the only effective and known way of getting +9 for sure ) other than any method thats posted here its all Luck.

Catalysts that prevent breaking,and the deducting of an upgrade.

Its the games way to make money, so no matter how accurate a Statistics Chart on upgrading you make its still based on luck. I dont care if your a Mathmetician this isnt the real world its a game, if you break something boo hoo buy a restore stone/blessed restore stone.

If you dont have the money to do so, oh well you shouldnt be taking risks then. . .

yep as cit said. just accept it. theres NO easy way to +9 just find the way you feel more lucky on and use it
