How to avoid screwing up Kritika? [Protips for ALLM]
 
How can ALLM avoid the tragic flaws that they implemented into Lunia, but in regards to their new game Kritika? If you have't seen Kritika already, it's ALLMs new bastard child.

1. Don't dumb down the game, just to appeal to casuals and 12 year olds who are finding the combo system too difficult to master.

Letīs see:
  • Donīt recycle earlier stages and monsters.
  • Donīt let us move through poorly designed and boring looking stages, i.e. B1, B2, EP7, Myth :py19:.
  • Donīt make it an Asia-grinder.
  • No fatigue-system!
  • Donīt include an Easy Mode where everything runs away from you.

- Don't make a set of stages with equips that make all old equipment obsolete and doesn't work in PVP (well it doesn't fit in PVP so that's why it doesn't work there. Bottom line is myth eq... *rolls eyes*)

if only they see this thread... sigh
1. No huge, non-comboable monsters spam.
2. Aoes should do less dmg than skills with small range.
3. No character recycling with same, but more powerful skills.
4. No uber gears.
6. Balance plz, or at least try, or try to try.
7. Give stage monsters high hp, so high that comboing (with combo bonus) is the only sane way to finish the stage in most cases.
8. Etc.

oh and lower the size of mobs, with monsters that are a lot quicker and do a lot more damage. high hp + many monsters could turn out like coc: push and spam

and maybe group 2-3 non comboable monsters per mob so half the team can attack the big ones while the other half do air combos

idk why they cant just model their stages after the first 3 episodes

I'd just like a bit more care and thought to be put into the content updates instead of haphazardly piling on characters on top of poorly conceived stages.

To be fair, they did; they took all the map textures, skins, and monsters and made them bigger!
