Biki lime does damage compared on the Level of your Attack/Str (such as other powerful attacks of lime).
So, even if now you find it Slow and Useless, it probably becomes a LOT more useful going on.

For Example, at level 50, when you trasform the space attack could do around, dunno, 200-300 damage?
Now, i think that you wouldn't find useless to can spam 300 damage AOE without losing mana, simply pressing Space.
It's not THE BEST trasformation but it sure does its part at the correct point.

Not really. He does start out slow, but gradually gets better till about lv 40 when things will really start to take off. And even after the... nerf, he still deals formidable damage. It's just that he is 1) inheritely slow in general, which puts you at disadvantage again a very large mob or fast enemies, and 2) being a risk-taking burst-damage specialist ain't so easy when things in higher stages can easily wipe the floor with ya... not to mention that there aren't much you can do while not transformed.

ADDED: BTW, try not to bump a really old thread...

-_-;; the def. potion is DMG just look at bapho set effect the "+ 50 min deff/ + 50 max deff" its as same as on the lime pot, REALLY REALLY usefull short b4 u use your xfrom to make even more dmg

u do know i wrote this guide before it came to glunia and before lime got the patch (that included new faces for xforms)

and back then it was defense, there werent translation errors like in glunia. if it is dmg now, tell me. u dont have to be rude about it

in any case i do not want to level a lime to 41 just to try it...can anybody else confirm this please?

warning: this guide was made maybe 1-2 years ago. the lime wasnt out in glunia, and even on klunia the major lime patch (where the faces were changed) hadnt taken place yet

after making a lime in the new patch
-rolling thud thud has lost almost all of its invincible frames. it used to be about 2-3 seconds of invincibility
-pang pang lime transforms -A- attack can now double hit and can pierce (before it would stop as soon as it touched an object). this attack is now better than the S attack (homing limes)
-biki lime can now stunlock monsters (before the second attack after the first would miss, making it completely useless to hit a over and over again)
-i dont think freezing lime shung uses any more Jelly Jellys
-now that limes have so much hp with the new gear, hp regeneration is optional
-please take this guide with a grain of salt...before i said u should use sticky jelly and wiggling jelly whenever cd is done, but now that stages are so easy u dont have to use any of them ever

I'll help you expand this

All Baby Summons don't require jellies anymore
Pyo's invinci frames were switched from like the last half to the first half now
HP and MP pot were slightly decreased in how much they heal
Lime now has buffs stack on it (kowabunga doesn't get rid of them anymore)

I can't think of any more so I'll write back later

And obviously Lime's transform damage was boosted this patch, if anyone forgot. Unless I hadn't noticed it before and it was patched a while ago, the transforms now add max damage and % max damage increase.

i'm pretty sure i tried it since i tried it when prot fort was modified.. i thought they'd change the effects of defense pot but.. nope

Oh I'd also like to add that Strength % damage increase no longer affects Pang Pang and Cool Pang anymore, but they left it in for Cool Wabang's Freezing Lime attack. It was kinda a shock to notice that even after the damage buff, my Pang forms were doing less damage per hit than before the patch.

Cool Pang Lime did indeed get worse, but Pang Lime got better. At point blank range, you can be doing 4 hits to each monster in myth. At mid range, it still hits 3 times, which is still more than pre-patch.

Yeah, Pang Lime now is downright broken IMO. They coulda let Cool Pang keep its % increase though x.x That's what really made it shine... (well, that and its very nice range :P)

EDIT: tested defense pot. It does indeed, add Defense.
