Friend needs help..but..

not so much experience with this type of thing... My ex-neighbor from China had messaged me a while ago, asking me to borrow money,,for like underground casino (illegal) to pay the workers. He has been my neighbor for like 6 years, ever since i left China, his mark had gone low and sht,,and his life was had gone down drain,,,so..wut should i do now,,he doesnt seem to wanna quit, hes kinda addicted to it. If i would borrow him the money, then he would still do it? If i dont, he will get his as kicked or something?...

That'd be like giving beers to an alcoholic. If you really want to help him, don't give him the money. Perhaps asskicking'll help him.

I bet you'd never see that money again if you lent money to that guy. How well do you know him anyway? I know he has been your neighbor for 6 years, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you know him.

I would never trust a guy like that with giving my money back. Let him get his ass kicked. Who knows? Maybe he'll learn something from it.

even tho i don't have experience in life due to age. but one of the very few i have is that, there sometimes things u just need to learn it the hard way. there are times when u need to put your finger on the heater and get burnt so that u'd never do it again. (just an analogy).
so yes, don't give him the money for sure if u want him to quit it.

If he was always in contact with you, and if you think you're close enough then you can lend him while giving advice.
If he only contacted you cause he needed money, don't bother.

Meaning if he is that type of person where you think you would even fly to China to help him then lend him the money.
