Family Broke Up...

Last night my mom found out my dad has been cheating on her for the past 2 years, and he got kicked out of the house.... somehow i don't feel fazed by this. Is something wrong with me? cause i don't know how i'm supposed to feel about this....

Wow that sounds really tragic and ridiculously chaotic. You should probably talk to your dad and find out where he is and possibly talk to your mom.

It's really shocking and I can't imagine how you feel but try to sort things out for a little bit.

This never happened before so you don't know how to react your feelings are built by past events by viewing how to go through an event your brain will remember, you will find a way to deal with this and react. For now you should go talk to your parents.

I wasn't really fazed when my mom divorced my dad over what probably was a drug addiction. I think it just depends on how you're affected by things emotionally. Either that, or the internet has turned us into desensitized badasses .

but I am sorry to hear about that Byuu, You should probably talk to you father .. usually there is a reason behind it and if he cares about you then he will have a heart to heart talk with you but maybe you should let the air cool down a bit. Everybody is probably still uppity about the situation even if they don't show it.

Either way, if it's not fixed, divorce, then a MAJOR split up of possessions and DRASTIC change of your lifestyle.

I Honestly think that this is true... ever since the internet anything my family goes through doesn't bother me as much as it should, like when i found out i had a sister i never knew about a few months ago... it was just another day for me :/


But i will try to talk to my dad but knowing him he'll try to play it off with a joke or somthing...
