I don't want you to just feel bad or just feel guilty. I don't want you to "feel bad because you hurt me" and be all mopey or depressed. I want you to understand why what you said was so insulting to me, and it wasn't just the one comment. It was also what you said after that, before I had to tell you to shut up. I said it in a semi-joking way, but chose 'shut up' to let you know I was annoyed.

If I was cheap and a gold digger that made you pay most of the time or make you buy me things, then saying something to me to smarten me up and not let me be a spoiled little princess would be welcome (well if I was that type of person, probably not). I try to be aware of these things, but apparently you don't know how I feel about these things even though I've ranted to you several times about something like this.
