Problems with life.
Somethings are just so overwhelming, Things go over the top for me though, I'm a pretty relaxed dude and i do my relaxed things, Watch tv shows play my games and ocassionally try to finish some online classes that i need to, But my mother thinks that i'm always playing. That maybe true most of the times but why can't she understand that i do my work when i feel like it i know i have to do it because it's good for me if i want to finally be consider a high graduate but i feel like she should cut me some slack it's not all too easy as well. Life is tough sometimes i know she means well sometimes but sometimes i wish she'd let me be this is stuff i kind of need to do on my own, she's raised me good. So she has to rely on me. I don't know what i've been rambling about, Let me know what you guys think.
I am not sure if this is the right advice. But keep going as you are but be open to stuff and take initiative. One day something will happen that will make you want to change. You might meet someone who you think is wonderful or have some unfortunate circumstance. You may wish to chase a girl who hates computer games.. Whatever.
Maybe you just need someone else to listen too. I know I do not pay attention to my mum's suggestions to me. Getting an A was never enough for her.
Just last week I decided to fix up my time management skills. So far so good, I have managed to not stress as much over assignments. I have a plan for a 2500 word essay due in 5 weeks and so far all is going smoothly.
But make sure you do what you have to do... Finish school when trying your best.. Keeping your room clean..... Work commitments, staying healthy, etc.
After that it is a choose your own adventure. I am sure you are aware of conequences and such, know them and do what is fine by yourself.
Always seek advice when you need it as well.
PS: anyone is free to disagree with me. I actually encourage it as people have many different views of life and I think is it only fair that there are a few options.
From a parent's perspective, most will automatically jump to conclusion that you're playing a game if you're using the computer. It's in their nature to do that because of what they know about our generation as gamers and what not.
From personal experience, as long as you show the results of doing well in school, your parents will eventually not nag you so much about being on the computer for so long. I also went out and did a lot of volunteer work before so it's a sign that I'm not addicted to the computer.
Of course, you should know the limits of staying on a computer. The longer your eyes are exposed to something like a computer, your eyes may (or maybe not) get worse to a certain extent. It's always good to stop using the computer and let your eyes relax.
