Monster Level Range 40 - 54
The first civilized pioneers to stumble across Loherra Plateau after centuries couldn’t help but wonder why the area had been abandoned for so long. True, the arid land wasn’t exactly the perfect place to grow crops, however with proper management food supplies were sustainable. The sheer wealth of ore and precious metals almost pouring out of the long-abandoned mines was incredible! But they soon found out...
Upon exploration, the lucrative mines to the East of the Plateau seemed to have been left behind by the original inhabitants centuries ago in what seemed like a headlong flight. Now bands of Goblins overran them, quick to loot the long dead civilization that once tried to carve out a living amongst the unforgiving crags of rock. It also appeared that in the time since, Goblin scientists had been perfecting methods to convert the mechanical Golems they left behind that were once used for mining labor into machines of destruction.
Starting at the ruins of the ancient settlement in the Southwest of the Plateau and following the trail of destruction, vultures, and bleached bones, the newly arrived explorers discovered mass graves to the Northeast haunted by Wights. An army of undead forever wandering around the long forgotten battlefield where the original settlers of the Plateau must have made their desperate last stand. Only to be later raised from the grave by something they could only assume was linked to the unnatural aura coming from the valley beyond the battlefield, and the obelisk on the peak nearby whose architecture seemed to match those of the shadowy ruins of an ancient temple towards the West of the Plateau.
When contact was lost with the first group of explorers that went to inspect the temple, a military expedition was put together to investigate. Upon entering the area they discovered creatures they had never seen the likes of before: a race of bat-winged monstrosities whose once-human forms‘ corruption could only be attributed to the worship and dark rituals of whatever ancient, evil god was going on in the temple built to honor it. After being violently pushed back to their hastily set up military encampment by the fortress adjoining the Plateau, heroes and adventurers have been called to help cleanse the area of monsters in the hopes of pacifying and settling the region.
Monster Level Range 45 - 48
Cybele's Garden was created and blessed by the Titaness Rhea, the mother of Zeus, whom is often associated with the Phrygian deification of the Earth Mother Cybele, and Greek Earth Goddess Gaia. Wife of the King of the Titans Cronus, he swallowed the first 5 of his children due to a prophecy that one of his offspring would overthrow him the same way he overcame his own father Uranus. Their children Hestia, Hades, Demeter, Poseidon, and Hera were all devoured; until Rhea bore Zeus in secret and tricked her husband into devouring a stone in swaddling clothes instead. Due to this she could be seen as the Mother of the Olympian Revolution, as it were.
Due to her part in overthrowing the Titans originally , she was accepted by the Olympian Gods under the rule of Zeus. With her actions leading eventually towards the end of the Golden Age of Man, and now with the renewed battle between Olympus and the Titans raging, she feels particularly pained for the struggles of her chosen race the Kentauros, for whom she subsequently created this lush paradise as a refuge for them while the conflict rages throughout the world.
The Garden is an almost impenetrable jungle teeming with flora and fauna that can be as beautiful as they are deadly, with carnivorous plants and hungering wildlife prowling around every shadowed path and clump of thick undergrowth. The Kentauros are a race of highly intelligent half-man, half-horse hybrid, blessed with life spans almost as generous as those of the gods themselves. Due to their desire to stay out of the war, they are fiercely territorial and independent; guarding their land savagely against any intrusion from Titan or Olympian partisan.
Practicing agent magic known long before the creation of Man, together with Rhea they have given life to a race of semi-sentient guardians for the Garden, the powerful Rockstatues. Living embodiments of the forest charged only with its protection, they too are ancient beyond memory, and are awakened from their almost hibernation-like slumber when they detect the presence of any human intruder. Recently though, not even these mighty giants can keep the battle for Olympus from spilling over into the Garden as Titans and Olympians both begin trespassing in search of acquiring the ancient relics and magic that lie dormant beneath the silence of the trees, and the spirits of the forest are beginning to get restless... and even more dangerous for the unwary that trespass through the tranquil Garden.
Monster Level Range 49 - 52
Shadow Canyon was once the home of the most thriving metropolis in the known world, and a city that enjoyed the patronage and favor of the clever trickster Prometheus the Titan himself. The ancient civilization which built it was the most technologically advanced of its day, and still its awe inspiring architecture holds up against the wear of the ages. Despite the almost inconceivable amount of time since it was a living city, its magnificence and grandeur was such that the ruins dominate the horizon of the Canyon to the present day.
Unfortunately unbeknownst to its inhabitants they had chosen to construct the vast citadel which proclaimed the greatness of their civilization above a vast underground network of caverns which reached deep into the very bowels of the earth. Due to the scope of rock quarrying necessary to keep up with the enormous success and growth of their desert trade empire’s city, they continued to dig deeper and deeper into the Canyon. Excavating rock to build their soaring towers and the impenetrably thick walls which displayed the very "invincibility" of their civilization. Until they dug too deeply and unearthed a race of creatures more ancient and terrifying than human.
At first a miner or two would occasionally go missing on an expedition in search of deposits of metal ore or veins of precious stones deep within the caves. Progressively more and more of these "disappearances" began to occur even above the surface at night in the Canyon. The night the first citizen was taken from the city itself was the last the source of the danger remained a mystery. The following night an endless swarm of giant arachnid-like monstrosities boiled out of the cavern and over the walls of the city with ease like a living sea. They had finally discovered the source of where their human bounty was coming from, and their scouts awakened the rest of the hive, which had been slumbering for eons… and they awoke hungry.
Now nothing moves in the ancient city except the creatures of the desert, fearsome in their own right, that have reclaimed the ruins in the eons since. Roving bands of Minotaurs nomads wander the desert to the South, but even their legends have passed on the wisdom of generations past into an inbred aversion of the area within the citadel walls even by day, and a deathly terror that prevents them from ever venturing within the caverns to the North of Shadow Canyon.
The Wailing Wall is an unforgiving desert, named for the cries of the Titan Prometheus whom was eternally chained there by Zeus in punishment for defying him and bringing about the end of the Golden Age of Man through his actions. His cries now echo off the walls of the towering mesas around the valley he is imprisoned within.
Taking pity on humans for their lives of toil, Prometheus tricked the God of Thunder into choosing bones wrapped in fat as the permanent offering mortals were required to burn for the gods, allowing humans to keep the meat of the animal for themselves to eat.
In retribution for the trick, Zeus took fire away from mortals, which Prometheus then promptly stole back and bestowed to mankind. Outraged, Zeus bound the Titan and left him to be fed upon eternally by vultures, only to have his body magically restored the next day to begin his agony again.
The Ruins around the Wailing Wall belong to the once great Minotaurus race. After a devastating civil war over dwindling water resources drove their tribes apart and sentenced them to a nomadic lifestyle scattered about the desert, ghouls have taken residence in the ruins, feeding on the dead and preying on those who dare to pass by.

With the war between the Olympian Gods and Titans raging throughout the world, thousands of warriors on both sides fall in battle daily. With Hades, the Lord of the Underworld, participating in the fight against the Titans two of the most powerful Necromancers in the world have taken his distraction as an opportunity to gain power for themselves.
Deidamia and her sister Inevis have been gathering the souls of those who fall in the conflict, harvesting them through occult rituals before the souls are able to finish their intended journey to the Underworld; and are using the power of those spirits to create an army of the undead.
Scavengers lurk in the dark corners of the dungeons, feeding on the corpses left behind in the wake of Deidamia and Inevis' quest for power. Spirits of the Frost have been unnatturally created by the side effects of the necromancers' rituals, and crave to extinguish the heat of the living to feed. In large numbers their hunger should not be underestimated by any adventurer tempting the bowels of the dungeons.
Dark Witches have been summoned to the Frozen Prison from the far corners of the world to become acolytes of the sisters, trading their servitude and very souls for training in the dark arts. Specializing in Ice Magic, these witches will fight to the death to protect the hidden entrances to the lower levels of the caverns. The personal maidservants of Deidamia are far more dangerous, and have progressed far further in their study of the dark arts from within her stronghold of the Sanctuary of Frozen Time.

Despite the War between the Olympian Gods and the Titans having broken out there are still a few peaceful areas of the world, such as the mountains to the West, where an industrious settlement has recently sprung up at the edge of the foothills. Fed by sparkling brooks, plentiful harvests, and mild weather year round, the settlement has recently become a large town; growing ever faster as they trade lumber and foodstuffs to other villages in need up and down the waterways.
As the settlement has grown its people have spread further into the wilderness around it, unknowingly bringing themselves to the attention of the vicious bands of Goblins, Hypits, and other humanoids that lurk in the hills, preying on caravans and lost travelers. The scattered bands of humanoids worship an ancient demigod known as the "Guardian of Time", a patron of greed that claims to be able to return the Goblins and Hypits to their races’ former glory, if they give him enough incentive that is. The Guardian incites his followers to raid the nearby area for riches with which to pay him tribute, while delighting in the chaos and misery that follow in their wake.
The increasing prosperity of the settlement itself has not gone without his notice either, which has sparked increasingly frequent Goblin and Hypit raids on the warehouses and food stores of the town. The infighting between rival Goblin and Hypit clans for the favor of their demigod has usually meant that the numbers they could gather for any single raid were limited enough that the villagers were able to defend their homesteads. Until the town’s industrious miners stumbled across rich gold and metal ore deposits buried in the settlement’s hillside alongside powerful relics of an ancient civilization.
Slavering with greed, the Guardian of Time has ordered the rival bands of Goblin and Hypit raiders together, forming them into an army with which he intends to raze the peaceful settlement to the ground and steal their newfound treasures for himself. His gathered army has already begun to march across the settlement, looting and destroying everything in their path, and the settlement’s calls of alarm and cries for help have reached far and wide.
Are you willing to help those in need defend their homes and livelihoods from total destruction? Or are you just looking to make a quick bit of gold to fill your coin purse? Either way, there’s no time like turmoil, havoc, and a rampaging army of Goblins to make your mark as a godly hero or make a tidy profit as a titanic villain!
