The Devestating Assassinate Skill!
Hello Assassins... and others!!
Most of you are aware of the recent fix to the Assassinate skill. Prior to the fix, this skill would annihilate everyone and everything in its sight. But after last night's maintenance, this skill correctly does damage equals to 90% of the player's life to the target player. A lot of players have raised their concerns on this fix as it takes away from what the Assassin is supposed to be, a Deadly Stealth Killer. I have discussed this issue with EYASoft and we have come up with the following. In an upcoming maintenance, the skill will not just be depended on the Assassin's HP, but the weapon itself as well. For the detail driven players out there, it is as follows:
Assassinate Damage = 90% of Current Life + 100% Weapon Damage + Ignores Target's Defense
After, the weapon and the HP of an Assassin will be more important than ever for 1 hit kills. We will also not be bringing back the bugged Assassinate skill as we do not see undergeared low level Assassins killing high level geared Warriors in 1 hit being fair or fun.
EYASoft estimates this change will be implemented in about 2 weeks, but will push to have it in for next maintenance.
