need some tips

ok, started playing a couple days ago and iv pretty much got how to play completely down, i usually use sivir and i get more kills + tower kills then anyone else on my team how my deaths are also the highest which is a bit annoying.

any tips for...not dieing?

If you don't know where your enemy is then do not stray too far from your towers/allies - reason why wards are great.

Position yourself correctly in team fights, if you're a ranged character make sure you're usually behind the melees/tanks in your team.

Do not get greedy for kills and attempt to kill someone under enemy tower if you're not 100% sure you'll kill them.


and for Sivir specifically:
Save your shield for stuns or skills that will do big damage.

Don't get too close in team fights, rely on your ricochet to destroy the enemy team.

Try to use your ulti on your attack damage teammates, using it only on yourself or on mage teammates is wasting it.

thanks, ill definitely try using wards for recon

however by late-game I'm usually left to backdoor (I'm assuming its because i can solo towers so long as 2 or 3 minions are there to take the hits.) so I'm thinking about getting flash for one of my spells to get away if needed, good idea or no?

flash a great summoner spell, helps chase and pull off a good escape in the jungle
as for no dieing, try not to chase too much, unless u know u got allies to help
also dont overexend and do random stuff like strolling around in their jungle
and another tip is, if they enemy lane is destroying u guys in lan phase, dont just keep dieing, turret hug, cuz at lane phase 99% of champs cant dive well, resulting in u being safe
