Well I finally got to test her out myself. She doesn't feel like Karma anymore... :/
I posted this in the Karma Ability Rework thread on the PBE forums. My opinions comparing her old self to her new self.
What would be the point in this rework, that took 2 years (?), if they were just going to keep her kit 95% the same? Sorry but you should be happy that her W and E still feel similar to their old counterparts at all :/
I don't disagree that it looks like this new Karma won't be a good support without huge AP though, her kit contains very similar types of utility to Lux's, and Lux isn't exactly an optimal support. Actually chances are Lux might even be better support than new Karma.
HERE IS A COMPLETE POST (With videos of skins/abilities/voice) of ALL the Karma updates!
( Karma is currently disabled pending a hot fix later tonight. SOON my friends, soon! )
To the delight of many, Patch 3.5 is shipping with the long awaited Karma relaunch! In the event you don't want to scour our PBE coverage for all the details of this relaunch, I've prepared a small post showing off what's new with the Enlightened One.
Continue reading for a rundown of her revamped kit and previews of her updated skins!
Not only did the relaunch net Karma an updated model, but her over all aesthetic has changed drastically .

In case you didn't notice, Traditional Karma also uses Karma's original, un-relaunched voice over. Neat!
Visuals aren't the only thing that changes in a relaunch. As with the Katarina relaunch, Karma has received significant changes to her kit. Each of her abilities have been changed, although she does retain a lot of her previous gameplay. She still has an AoE damage ability, a tether ( although now only for enemies ), a self heal instead of a group, and a shield so the changes shouldn't feel too foreign in the hands of an experienced Karma player.
( Passive ) Gathering Fire
Reduces Mantra's cooldown by 1/1.5/2 second each time Karma damages an enemy
champion with one of her abilities (Half-effect for Karma's basic attacks).
( Q ) Inner Flame
50/60/70/80/90 Mana 7/6.5/6/5.5/5 sec Cooldown
Fires a blast of energy that explodes upon enemy contact dealing 60/110/160/210/260 (+.6 AP) magic damage to enemies in the area and slowing them for 25% for 1.5 seconds.
Mantra Bonus - Soulflare: Deals 25/75/125/175 (+.3 AP) additional magic damage and leaves a circle of flame at the impact area or upon reaching maximum range, slowing
enemies for 50%. After 1.5 seconds the circle erupts dealing 50/150/250/350 (+.6 AP) magic damage to enemies in the area.
( W ) Focused Resolve
70/80/90/100/110 Mana 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 sec Cooldown
Links Karma to target enemy champion, revealing them and dealing 60/110/160/210/260 (+.6 AP) magic damage over 2 seconds, rooting them in place for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds if the link is not broken.
Mantra Bonus - Renewal: Spirit Link deals 75/150/225/300 (+.6 AP) bonus magic damage and heals karma over the duration for 25 (+.01 AP)% of her missing health.
( E ) Inspire
60/70/80/90/100 Mana 12 sec Cooldown
Target ally gains a shield, granting 20/30/40/50/60% movement speed for 1.25 seconds and absorbing 80/120/160/200/240 (+.5 AP) damage for 4 seconds.
Mantra bonus - Defiance: The shield overflows with energy, dealing 60/140/220/300 (+.6 AP) magic damage to enemy units around her target. Allied champions around her
target gain half that amount ( 30/70/110/150 + .6 AP ) as a shield, and are also hasted.
( R ) Mantra
No Cost 45 sec Cooldown
Karma empowers her next ability within 8 seconds for an additional effect.
( Leveling this up increases the effects of the Mantra bonus )
When Mantra is active, Karma lights up all sorts of teal.

Updated Lore and Voice
This is also available via the in game client. For a refresher on her old lore, click here.
"Karma is a woman of indomitable will and unbound spiritual power. She is the soul of Ionia made manifest and an inspiring presence on the battlefield, shielding her allies and turning back her foes. A strong leader torn between tradition and revolution, Karma seeks to protect the peace of Ionia – by force if necessary.
Karma once lived a tranquil life in a small Ionian village. Led by elder monks, the villagers practiced a tradition of benevolent magic and pacifism. Known for her powerful connection to the spiritual realm and beloved as a just mediator amongst her people, Karma embraced these traditions as an essential aspect of the enlightenment sought by all Ionians.
Her inner peace was tested when the armies of Noxus invaded Ionia. While the village's elder monks insisted their peaceful ways would spare them from violence, Karma had heard enough tales of Noxian cruelty to openly question the elders' wisdom. Stern and unmoving, they told her to trust in tradition. When the invaders marched on the village, the elder monks rode out to negotiate a bloodless end to the battle. The Noxian general was offended by their show of weakness and slaughtered the monks himself as he ordered his soldiers to strike the village.
As the Noxians advanced, the villagers prepared to accept death, bound to their peaceful vows. But Karma would not accept death and instead saw another way: sacrificing a single life to spare many others. To save her people, she drew upon the power within and summoned the full force of her will. A burst of spirit fire emerged from her body and spiraled towards the Noxian general. The flame took the form of twin dragons, the symbol of Ionia itself. It was the first time Karma had ever used her powers to harm instead of protect, and neither she nor the villagers had ever seen anything like it. When the magic subsided, the general had fallen before her and his soldiers had scattered. The opposing forces surrendered to Karma's strength leaving her people, and their traditions, untouched.
While the war raged on, Karma became a formidable leader of the Ionian resistance, but the conflict did not end when Noxus's armies fled the Ionian shores. Ionia became divided between the resistance fighters who craved vengeance and the monks who demanded a return to spiritual tradition. Karma saw a third path, one that combined the strength Ionia found in war with the peaceful traditions the nation still held dear. She now seeks to return her ravaged land to an enduring peace.
''Your spirit is something no one can take from you. Use it wisely.''
Lastly, here is a reel featuring her new voice over.
Just played new Karma on EUW and I love her, they managed to fix the majority of her old problems while still keeping similar gameplay (gameplay, not kit) to her old counterpart.
Q: Still a highly spammable short ranged poke, but they got rid of the almost-melee-range problem.
W: Still used for CCing a running enemy except they fixed the problem of it not dealing damage to the target and it being a negligible CC in the past. The move speed buff part has moved to E so it's not completely lost.
E: Obviously still a shield. The movement speed upgrade is a really nice add-on, not necessary but still nice.
R: Having 1 mantra is BALANCED. People who think otherwise should really sit down and think about it for a sec, Q is already on a 3 sec CD with 40% CDR, imagine 2 mantra'd Qs on a team fight, 1 is already ridiculously strong, or imagine 2 mantra'd Es, again 1 is already ridiculously strong.
R+Q: They got rid of the weird "Do I use it for the damage or the heal?" problem (NO, it was unlikely that you'll be hitting and healing at the same time mid-team fight) and made it a purely high damage poke/nuke, pretty straightforward.
R+W: Still find this a little meh, but in skirmishes the 25% health heal can turn the tables, I like how they kept the "LOLOL U BROKE THROUGH MY SHIELD NOW I'M GOING TO HEAL MYSELF...AND THEN SHIELD MYSELF AGAIN WHEN YOU TAKE MY HEALED HEALTH DOWN AGAIN GG" gameplay that old Karma had.
R+E: Still similar role, Shield + damage, but the newly added huge utility buff to this skill is amazing, OP TBH. AoE Shield + Shureliya's + AoE damage over a wide targeted area on a single skill, for real? lol.
Channel the powers of Ionia in this Champion Spotlight as Karma, the Enlightened One, now completely remade and ready to rejoin the Fields of Justice.
In her new role as mage-support, Karma goes toe-to-toe against opponents in solo lanes or when paired in a traditional bot lane. With a versatile skillset that protects allies and blasts opponents, as well as three distinct ways to supercharge her abilities with her ultimate, Karma’s dangerous no matter which role she fills on your team.

Our Traditional Karma skin - a vintage skin that pays tribute to Karma's old aesthetic - will be available in the store for 975 RP beginning on March 29 at 11 AM Pacific. After two weeks, the skin will be retired to the Legacy Vault, so get it while you can.
Confused as shit on how to build her, play her as an AP caster, but still have the idea of being a support. There's not enough utility AP items.
But she does a lot of damage with Q alone. Holy ****ing shit.
R+W is by far the most lackluster part of her kit I agree.
R+E is definitely strong as shit, especially considering it scales by her mantra level, so immediately at 6 and 11, the shield and AOE damage is really frickin' strong even with no levels into E itself.
She's fun to play, the feel on her is pretty okay, though she seems more standard AP caster than the support mage they said she would be, more akin to Orianna than Zilean.
